lack of natural light ( of course it’s an old building , what should I expect) Loft bed. It’s hard for old people. No reception and only one key, so we had to organize well to do separate activities.

Apartment is in the historic building, very authentic and atmospheric.”

Location -in the historical part of the city-all attractions are at walk distance. Clear instructions how to come to the place and take the keys. All kitchen appliances were available.
There is a washing machine in the apartment-it is a plus, however there was no detergent. Recommend to take it. I had to buy a big pack of detergent, since small packs were not available in nearby stores. Second bed is in the niche-information for those who have claustrophobia.

Loved staying in Vieux Lyon in a Vieux apartment! Lots of space and you couldn't get a better location. Full kitchen was great to have. We had a little confusion getting in, but our hosts were easy to connect with, and the problem was solved immediately.

Location is amazing. Exactly where you want to be in Lyon. Owners had great communications with us. Enough space. Kitchen was well equipped.
Bedroom is built above the kitchen in a small space and feels claustrophic. The apartment wasn't exceptionally clean with dust and cobwebs. The bathroom was dated at best.

This is a quirky but very endearing apartment; well equipped and everything worked well. Very clear entry instructions from Brigitte which proved essential.
The bed is more a futon and in a loft which makes it squeezy if you are tall.

The location is perfect. It is on the shopping area. Everywhere is walking distance. There are lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, bouchons and bars around. The landlord and landlady were so helpful. Location and living space wer excellent, but check you're comfortable with the sleeping arrangements”

The living space was excellent and the kitchen well equipped. Wifi worked well. The property was perfectly placed for all of the major sites that we wanted to visit. But as you'll see below this property is somewhat of a "curates egg" which has made it very difficult to write a review. in fact I was not going to write a review because there was so much that was good but there were issues that we felt could be better; and what I've written below is designed to be helpful to the owners and future guests.
The sleeping arrangements were unusual perhaps even bizarre. We've lived in France for many years and are used to unusual internal figurations. Our own house has one bedroom on a mezzanine but you can stand upright in it and access it without needing climbing ropes bans carabiners. We slept on the bed settee which meant everything had to be re-arranged morning and night. Initially finding the property was a challenge. You can't park within 1-200 meters, the property is no3 and the entrance hidden behind a café terrasse. We asked the man at no. 4 who was charming but he had no idea where no. 3 was. Advice on parking would have been helpful, there's plenty of it but arriving late evening and tired it would have helped to know where to park, Parking St Jean worked well but cost €80 for three nights which is not unreasonable for a major city center but does add considerably to the overnight cost.

Fantastic Location in Old Town Lyon”

The location was fantastic! Our host, David, was very accommodating, so very helpful! Our plane was very delayed, we arrived at the apartment at 1:30 am! We couldn't unlock the door. We were so tired, we called the # they listed and he walked us through on how to make the lock work. Thank you David for your patience.
We did not sleep in the loft, we slept on the sofa bed and it was comfortable enough. There is no air conditioning which means you need to sleep with the windows opened, so, it got somewhat noisy. The fan helped a lot!
