    “Le Meridien. ”

    Had to ask to move rooms because there was plaster falling off of the walls and general ‘unfinished’ finishes to the room. Arriving at my second room I had to get housekeeping to come and clean obvious dirt and marks. Again, unfinished shower head in the wall but I hadn’t the energy by this point to change rooms again. Concierge were helpful! Location is great if you want to be in the city. Bathrooms are a bit small! Wasn’t the same looking room as the pictures at booking. Won’t personally stay there again. Stayed in Williamsburg before and enjoyed the hotel much more. However, for value for money this is a cheaper option and therefore might work!

    “Needs a touch up”

    The room size for the price point was not so good. Even for NYC standards. The carpet ,furniture was quite dated with chips on most of the furniture. The shower water pressures were weak for the 12th floor and the most appalling thing was dorm room style front doors. Not for a price of 1xxx.00. Location is the best but, finish the touches. Other LeMeridein has been much better also in very high sought cities.

    “A lovely hotel but was slightly surprised as when I booked I signed up for the Viceroy. ”

    The hotel was bought out by the Meridian and remodelled, so didn’t have the boutique look that the Viceroy had, or the extra touches. The hotel is more mainstream rather than the boutique touches that I prefer.’ Otherwise it was a lovely stay in a great location. Staff are friendly.
