    After initial problems - we enjoyed the apartment - very quiet - but would not stay there again.”

    Things I like
    Location is good - a number of restaurants right there - small grocery nearby. Short walk to river walk. Furnishings were good and comfortable.
    Things I don’t like
    Had to pay in EURO Cash - did not realize until the day before we left - never booked a stay that didn't take credit card payment in advance - so wasn't looking close enough at the payment terms. Will watch that in the future and never stay in one that requires that. Apartment was below expectations compared to other locations we have stayed in - because they did not provide any soaps, shampoos in the bathroom. Did not provide any laundry detergent. Toilet was not working when we arrived after all night flight. It took too many frantic messages thru Booking.com, phone call to owner & directly to Booking.com - for Owner to finally send son back to fix - which only took him 5 minutes.

    Things I like
    This comfortable and fully equipped apartment is perfectly located in Chartrons. It’s quiet but there are attractive cafes and shops only metres away. It’s an easy walk or tram ride into the city centre and Chartrons itself is interesting and vibrant. We strolled around the streets just enjoying the atmosphere and would happily stay in this apartment again. Spring was an excellent time to visit Bordeaux.

    Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment located in a great part of the city. Easy to get to the river, public transport and lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets about. It also had a terrace which we enjoyed sitting out on in the evenings

    Fantastic short stay in Bordeaux”

    Things I like
    The location being so central to lovely cafes, organic supermarket, bakery, restaurants. Tram and historic sights very close too. Even better, as it’s set back, in the apartment you can’t hear any outside noise. Silent but central. Absolutely perfect!
    Things I don’t like
    Nothing. Having a second key would have been helpful.
