Best Pet-friendly hotels in New Delhi and NCR

"The Pullman is a very chic and modern hotel with lots of amenities and very close proximity to terminal 3 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, making it very convenient for Emirates commuter. The rooms are absolutely marvelous with a very luxurious bathroom and a heavenly bed. The breakfast (inclusive) is phenomenal and service is awesome. A special Thanks to Narendra Shivare for outstanding service. This is a newly built hotel and I highly recommend it when visiting New Delhi. I would give this hotel a 7 star!!"

"I chose to stay at the Novotel (in preference to the nearby Radisson), as an Accor member, however it was not quite what I expected. The room was very nice, the internet was fast and the staff were very friendly. However there were a few small things that weren't so good. Like there was no free water in the room. That's the first time of 10 years of travelling in India where there is always bottled water labelled "complimentary". There was water in the minbar area but nothing to suggest that it was free. The hotel pickup from the airport was expensive at Rs1000 plus taxes for a 4km trip. There was no BCC on the list of TV channels available. I was keen to have a massage however there was no catalogue of what was on offer in the room. I was short on time and didn't have time to go looking. Maybe these are teething problems for a new hotel?"

"Pro: Aeocity is new area and safe. Food is wonderful. Must try: butter chicken. Services are good. They always welcome you and ask for feedback. Sizeable and well equiped gym room. Variety choices of tv channels Con: House-keeping to be improved. They poured my skincares, and didn’t tidy up my clothes on sofa. Amentity provided has to be improved. Free items can be provided to room without asking, e.g. comb. Slipper is not comfortable. "

"Beautiful and clean hotel in a great location. There are many good places nearby. The room is large with a good view. There was no hot water in the room. But opened the next room, where the hot water was. For breakfast only eggs, but we are vegetarians. I think any hotel in India should have a choice for vegetarians - ALWAYS. The staff tried very hard to help. Especially Amit helped a lot! He's a great guy! "

"Pros: Most important is the location. Very well located near green park market, 5 min walk from metro and 20 minutes drive to city centre. Staff is also very kind and helpfull. Feels like staying in a home instead of an apartment or rental. Only con that I can think of is the floor where I stayed. Avoid staying in 3rd floor it’s a bit more noisy compared to others. Crazy construction noise at 12 in night kept me up whole night. It was only one night. After I rajsed it to staff, it got better. Room amenities are very basic but will do. Overall great choice and I will definitely return. "

"The stay at the hotel was quite good. The staff were expecting me and were helpful in checking me in at once. The room was quite clean and well maintained and the air conditioning (a must for the Delhi weather) was near to excellent. The room service was very good and prompt and wifi internet log in details were provided readily by the staff almost immediately (valid for 24 hours on a rotational basis). Josey and Rameez among the room service were quite helpful not only in the room maintenance and daily cleaning but also in helping search my way around various locations in Delhi and pointing out the best way of getting to the locations. This is a best value for money hotel for a budget traveller who wants more to sightsee and return to the room every evening to freshen up. I did not find any evidence of pickpocketing and criminal activity that I was expecting as the location is not great. Transportation (tuk-tuks, cycle ricksha, auto rickshas, buses) are plentiful but one has to negotiate the price beforehand or share with other passengers. Charges are quite low compared to London if measured in pence, so I didnt feel it much. The railway station (New Delhi) and the Metro (probably in some ways better than the London Underground) are both nearby. Connaught Place is about 10 mins away by tuk-tuk and Rajeev Chowk (Metro Stop) is located right there, including most shopping areas and restaurants (KFC and McDonalds). The best way to go around Delhi is to plan the trip and then use the Metro as far as possible (cheap and excellent service). Get to Metro Stop (Rajeev Chowk) by bus or tuk-tuk. I would probably stay at this hotel if I visited Delhi again."
