Best Hotels near the Beach in Kyoto

"Staff were happy to assist, but pay attention to what they tell you to do, because Japanese culture is structured and not appreciative of rowdiness, loudness, sloppiness, or inconsiderateness in a hotel environment. Even sh*tfaced drunk salarymen will still behave sensibly here. Anyway, this place was very good value for the money. Very comfortable. Not very easy luggage storage and access (because it really wasn't build to be a foreign tourist hotel). Sauna and bath were great, massage was excellent with zero wait time, and let me tell you - the breakfast buffet was superb! Chillin in your hotel pajamas and eating as much fish, raw eggs, natto, soup, and veggies was very valuable to me - as touring Kyoto all day is exhausting for anyone. I'd stay at this place again in Kyoto for sure. Drop your luggage off, take a bath, rent a bike, enjoy Kyoto. This is bare bones, though, I don't think you can hang out during the day - so if it's rainy or you like to come back to your hotel a lot between activities, maybe it's not the best for you. But if you're a guy with a tight accommodations budget, a good amount of energy and willingness to forego certain hotel features, everything that you DO get here is clean, orderly, comfy, and considerate. Toothbrushes, razors, towels, breakfast, nightlight, lockers, pajamas, massage, no restroom waits, great bath (including a rooftop outdoor bathing area at night!). Thanks again Rumor Plaza!"

"The hotel is very well presented and all the staff members are very welcoming. Everything is clean and tidy. The lobby, onsen, guest rooms, dining area ... everything. Facilities in the hotel are great. The hotel is only a short drive to the main area of Kyoto where all the restaurants and attractions are. "
