"it was our first time in los angeles and we were going to be out and about doing the touristy things and needed a clean and confortable hotel room with good bedding and an adequate bathroom. and you get all of this at the beverly laurel hotel at a reasonable price through agoda, with the bonus of on-site parking at per day. the adjoining restaurant (a diner realy) is open 24/7 which is great and serves good wholesome food at reasonable prices. and the location is great, you're only a maximum 10-15 minutes walk to many restaurants and the farmer's market for alternative eating establishments. and the staff are friendly and knowledgable. so, all in all, a good stay. highly recommend."

"Got a great bargain for this upscale hotel through Agoda. Quiet ambiance throughout, no disturbances or noises from guests on either sides, hallway or doors opening or closing which was great! Beds were firm and comfortable, and bedding clean. Bathroom was modern and spacious, toilet had a bidet, if so desired, walk-in shower and bathtub setup was the best--great showerhead giving a wonderful invigorating shower, unlike many hotels that provide showerheads that just trickle water making for a very unsatisfactory showering experience. Improvements could be stronger lighting to facilitate makeup application, updated the slightly worn wooden furniture, and better dusting practices from housekeeping. All in all, a very pleasant stay in an LA suburb and would definitely go back again next time we're in town."

"Seal Beach is a great little residential town on the beach with a really vibrant main street area with tons of great restaurants and a beautiful beach. Perfect spot for families. I noticed that there were not a lot of other hotels in the area, so the Pacific Inn could have gotten away with being so-so as nearly the only game in town, but, instead, they were fantastic. The staff all seemed really happy to be there and were super friendly and helpful. The place was super clean and bright. The breakfast was great - egg patties, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, make your own waffles, etc. etc. all covid-friendly - unlike many hotels that simply don't serve it anymore. The hot tub was nice and clean and had good jets. Best of all, it was a really short walk to the beach - maybe a quarter mile or so - either through a quiet and charming residential neighborhood or via the lovely main street area. Finally, the price - all this for $106 per night!! We'll be back for sure."

"I wish they offered more hygienic amenities for showering and things like that. And I wish every room had a fridge in it. (The Room I had this time didn’t have a fridge or microwave). But that’s seriously the ONLY “complaint” I have. Staff here is amazing. It’s a peaceful location. And it’s INCREDIBLY affordable/convenient. "

"Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds and pillows, cool pool, street and hotel parking. Centrally located in a safe neighborhood. Laundry room, microwaves (near pool) and mini fridge in rooms. Cons: soap provided is very fragrant (bring your own). You can smoke outside the rooms in designated areas so if you have a smoke allergy, this may affect you. Pool is not heated and slippery tile on stairs to enter."

"The motel looks a little run down from the outside. But the rooms are nice and clean. They just installed new TVs and the beds are made every day. The personell is friendly and helpful. I can see why some people don't like the area but I had no problems whatsoever. I would recommend this place to anyone who looks for a decent priced place to stay in L.A."

"This hotel is located only about 10-15 minutes drive from LAX, and just around the corner from the car rental places, and right next to a freeway, which is very convenient. While the planes whiz right by the hotel, and the cars whiz right by on the freeway, the windows must be double glazed or similar because it isn't overly noisy. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff were very helpful. Parking can be a bit of an issue as there is limited parking available - however it is free so that is a bonus. The included breakfast is really not very good at all, so you may want to get your own breakfast. They did have DIY waffles though, which were nice. Try not to get ground floor rooms, as some of them are located between the lobby and the lifts to go upstairs, and I would imagine these would be noisy. We stayed on a high level, had good views and it was quiet."
