Fab and romantic”
On my arrival at CDG, the first thing i had to do was to book a nice hotel, and when I saw Terrass, it immediately caught my attention. Contrary to what most people think about getting a mediocre hotel, because you'll spend most of your time anyway, I thought that travelling isn't just about what you see outside but more importantly what you can experience when you get back to where you will stay throughout your trip. Given the cold season and unpredictable weather during Christmas and New Year, Terrass provided that sense of comfort like home, that feeling of security and accessibility around Paris, and that wonderful team/service behind the hotel image. Truth be told, i was impressed with the seasonal artisan chocolate that welcomed me on my arrival, it truly energized my tired body after a long haul plane trip. The room is spacious enough with a nice bathroom including a nice set of toiletries (i just love them- L'Occitane). Of course, the more you pay, the better the view you'll get, so it's advisable to spend a bit to get a room with a terrace-where you can sit and breathe, while sipping a cup of tea or coffee. The roofdeck resto has a magnificent view of the city including the Eiffel tower, and so you'll enjoy your meals while having a nice scenery. Above all, the hotel staff are all friendly and very helpful (kudos to all of them). I can't wait to stay once again in this wonderful boutique hotel, coz it's like home.

Amazing all round experience”
Starting with the location it's positioned right at the start of Montmartre with 3-4 metro stations within 6-7 mins walk. The surrounding area is beautiful (the most aesthetically pleasing from the other parts we visited) and you can easily spend one day just exploring the area and hanging out at local pubs & cafes. The room that we got was on the 6th floor with a balcony with a complete city view which included the Eiffel Tower. It was very clean and pretty big in comparison to other European hotels that we have stayed in. Staff there was amazing and very helpful. Special shout out to Hannah (apologies if I got her spelling wrong) who helped us with suggestions to explore the nearby areas. She also had great recommendations for some offbeat places around the city. Last but not the least they have an amazing rooftop bar & Cafe. The breakfast was scrumptious and totally worth it. Unfortunately we weren't able to sit down and have a drink and dinner there during our stay but every night when we came back to the hotel there would be a queue waiting to enter the place so I'm assuming it's a happening scene. Overall amazing experience and would highly recommend.

We had such a lovely stay. The hotel is in the perfect location only walking distance from amelie’s resto and the sacre coeur. I loved this hotel, there is also a lovely rooftop in the hotel and you can see the Eiffel tower sparkle at night from there. The bathroom is also super nice and the toiletries they provide smell so good!! I wish i got to stay here longer 🥺

Perfect location”
Loved the Terrass, me and my partner had a 1 night stay after working a day in Paris, it was such a lovely place to arrive at. Staff were helpful and caring, the room was great as was the view from the roof terrass. We didn't eat at the hotel as just up the road are lots of lovely Bistros to choose from. Would love to stay again.

Luxurious and Great Decor.”
You really feel that you are staying somewhere special when you arrive at this hotel. The styling and decor are very attractive with a nice mix of French antiques along with bold colour schemes and very well laid out rooms. We appreciated the in room tea & coffee making facilities which are not the norm in France as they are in Australia, along with the other little extras including a pillow menu. The bed was comfortable, and the storage space for bags and hanging space was plentiful. We noticed that many reviews stated that the hotel breakfast is expensive; however we concluded that for such a sumptuous breakfast that included so many choices of quality ingredients, mostly organic we considered that it was well worth the price charged. The staff were all efficient and helpful and as friendly as they needed to be without going to extremes. We asked for some faxes to be sent on our behalf and this was no problem so we knew that we were well looked after. The location in Montmarte is good, as the attractions of the area are within walking distance including Sacre-Couer, Moulin Rouge and the many cafes and restaurants. Although the area is busy, the outside noise does not intrude on the peace inside the hotel. We did not go to the bar on the top floor for eating or drinking, but we did go to see the views - Eiffel Tower is visible from the roof bar. We attempted to make use of the hotel computer, but were unable to connect to the internet for our purposes. If we were to visit this area again we would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Best hotel in the Montmartre area, close to metro Blanche and the trendy restaurant area of rue des Abesses. Soundproof windows make for a good night's sleep ! Friendly and helpful staff. Best feature : the terrasse on the 7th floor for drinks and nibbles with a view on Paris towards the Eiffel tower, fabulous !

Great Hotel in Superb Location!”
The hotel staff - reception, cleaning and bar - were all extremely courteous, helpful and professional. I thought the cost was very reasonable given the level of service we received. The rooftop bar is gorgeous to sit and have a relaxing drink at night and the overall location in Montmartre is second to none. When we return to Paris we will definitely reside at Terrass by MH for our visit.

Great hotel, good location.”
Very nice hotel close to all of Montmartre's attractions. Our room was a junior suite with one king size bed and one Murphy bed in the other room. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our windows. Location was convenient: the hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the Metro and the Sacre Coeur. Great when travelling with young children. There are lots of restaurants in the neighourhood. The staff was helpful and granted us a late checkout.

Terrass Hotel, Paris”
This is definitely a hotel I would go back to. From the easy initial booking with Agoda to the helpfulness of taking care of the bags for a few hours after we checked out it was great. Our first weekend away from our children in 8 years and the Terrass ensured it was a special wekend. The closeness to Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge to a short taxi / bus or metro to the main attractions was an added bonues. The value for money was great, with a very large, clean and quality furnished double room.

Affordable luxury”
Fantastic interior, great and attentive staff, the terrace gives you an incredible view over Paris! I loved the hotel since the very first second I arrived. With some 80 Hotel nights every year I can compare, and the Terrass Hotel is one of the best ever, given the price, the location, the roof top terrace overlooking Paris and the general standard!

Nice boutique hotel”
It is a fully updated older hotel. Some rooms with city view w/ Eiffel Tower on the horizon. Some inner rooms are larger and quieter. Superb rooftop bar/restaurant. Has a truly wonderful staff, especially for Paris :) Montmartre is a very long walk or a bit of a ride on metro (5-6 blocks away) to central locales and museums, but it is charming in and of itself.

Wonderful staff, service and location”
The hotel was well situated and staff was friendly and helpful; the room was clean. A symptom of Paris, the room is on the small side and none of Europe seems to believe I might need to iron anything that has been stuffed in a bag for a few days; also it is not cheap, but again this is Paris, so price was not out of line with what you should expect. The hotel bar & restaurant has some picturesque views. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Quaint and perfect”
I was staying for 3 nights with my nephew so given my last experience in Paris where you had to crabwalk on either side of the bed I was worried about room size. the bed first of all was a lovely king which meant you did not even notice anyone else was in the bed, plus there was a decent amount of room all around to make movement possible and comfortable . The totally separate toilet was handy. The bathroom while small and pretty much of Parisian size was lovely in its finishes and designed with a walk in closet just outside making the size less important. All in all the room was lovely, the ability to open the long windows welcome. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Only surprise was when room service.vice said the do not do bottles of wine??? The restaurant for breakfast is a must do - not only is the spread of food wonderful and fresh, the view of the Eiffel Tower is sublime to admire over breakfast.

Lovely hotel and impeccable service”
stayed here for 3 nights as a birthday present to my girlfriend. i read several reviews about a few different hotels in the area. i decided this was the one for me and boy am i glad i chose it. so, i arrive at the hotel and check in. hotel staff greet me with happy smiles and the process is very simple. hotel was on the 5th floor as i bought a standard room for the 3 nights. walked in and this is my verdict; pros: super clean, decor is lovely, bed is very comfortable, bathroom was beautiful with two sinks opposite each other and a power shower, 28 inch lcd tv, internet, wardrobe, ironing board, a pillow menu (which you can request at reception), small but nicely furished toilet, air con, and our absolute favourite were the shutters that you could electronically move up and down via a button next to your bed which gave us perfect sleep in the morning. cons: the only bad thing i can say about our room was the view from our window. all you can see is a side block of flats. but that really didn't bother us as we were out all day and never looking out the window as the curtains were always closed for privacy. on a whole this hotel is well and truly recommended in a gorgeous area with magnificent food. excellent

Friendly hotel, lovely location”
Being a new traveller to Paris, it was with much trepidation that I finally settled on Terrass Hotel after scouring the net for affordable, decent places to stay. It was further amplified when I saw the lobby which was a touch old and dingy. I needn't have worried though; the rooms were fine - comfortable and clean (which is all I ask, really). The staff were mostly warm and friendly, though it can vary depending on who's on duty. One small gripe I would have is that the wifi strength was fairly weak and would not work on some days in my room (5th floor), so I had to trek downstairs to the lobby each time I needed to email or use the internet. It's only an issue because of the frequency I needed access to email, so having to be confined to the lobby to use the wifi was a tad inconvenient. Another thing was the room key kept failing to work, and I've had to go back to the lobby after many failed attempts to open my door with it to get it reactivated. Other than that, I would say this stay was quite pleasant, but the minor annoyances do add up.

Lovely hotel and service”
I stayed for 3 nights with my elderly parents, one of whom wasn't well after the international flight. The hotel was very helpful in organising a doctor to attend my parent in 15 minutes on a weekday. Very impressed. The rooms themselves vary, this was my 2nd stay and some don't have the american style fixed shower heads but they're charming. And the location is wonderful, Montmartre is glorious with lots to do and see, eating and shopping. I'll definitely go back.
