Nice Hotel with great bar”
It is a upper class, central located Hotel. The service is very good, people are very friendly and are supporting with any question or problem. the room wasn't to big but confortable and (whats not else expected) clean. Modern entertainment systems in the room. The Highlight is the bar on the top with a nice view over Lyon and the Rhone river.

We chose this hotel because it's close to the start point of Run in Lyon, Place Bellacour. It's quite expensive for us, but we admitted that we were impressed by the room, the bed, the complimentary minibar and Hermes amenity.

Quiet and convenient location”
It's convenient to go to many attraction. The area is peaceful during the morning and at night. In walking distance to Lyon Perrache and place beelcour. Nice view of Rhone river.

Great hotel once you get there”
after spending several weeks staying in houses and apartments it was lovely to have a night in a hotel with a large comfy bed, a bath and a proper shower. once we managed to navigate the tricky one way streets to get to the hotel, the car was whisked away to the garage by the staff and check in was completed very quickly and professionally. the room was as requested and the bonus of the complimentary mini bar, with soft drinks, water and juices was welcome. we had a fabulous dinner at their "les trois domes" restaurant, with views out over the river and the old town. i have nothing bad to say about our stay.

my wife and I stayed at this hotel for our second honeymoon. this is the first time we visited this hotel. and this hotel is recommended by some of our friends. we purposely choose this hotel on our stay for valentine. Room is ok, bed is comfy. The service I have to mentioned is very good. would return to this hotel again when we visit lyon

Great location, very friendly staff but old rooms”
We stayed one night and were very pleased with the service that we received. However, one huge disappointment was the room itself which was very old and very different compared to the pictures displayed. The staff told us that a number of floors had not been refurbished yet. It would be very useful for the hotel to differentiate the room type so that the customer may decide whether to pay a higher price or not for a newer room. In our case, had we known, we would have chosen to stay in another hotel or pay for an upgrade to a superior category.

everything was good but at first they gave us very very old room with old and uneven carpet. the room was very smelly. it was on the 6th floor. we had to come back to the reception to ask for non-carpet room then we were given the room on the 1st floor with new decoration and wooden floor. thank you so much for her kindness otherwise we couldnt be able to sleep. except this bad experience, other things was perfect.

Room need renovation”
Got a room with fouling odor upon opening the door. Seems like previous guest stayed with a pet. Complained to reception and was offered another room (upgrade). Should have been more considerate that most Asian guests do not appreciate to the smell of pet friendly hotel rooms.

Poor service and overprice for the quality of room”
We had late check in. The staff couldn't find my booking. The suite was cheap looking. The sofa was uncomfortable. No toothbrush or comb in the suite. We had catered a simple snack in the room at 11:30am and after which we all proceed for my wedding in church. We came back to the room at 3am and the leftover food was still there despite we called them to clean the room before we went out. Nobody cared to clean the room. Staffs were incompetent. Bills were not itemized. I don't know what I m paying especially I sent my clothes for ironing. They didn't tell me how much was for each clothes and I ordered breakfast online but they didn't serve the right quantity. I paid for late check out but they didn't know and wanted to charge for late check out. Service is very poor coming from Sofitel. Not worth the money.
