Was as expected but not exceeding it. But staff overall are good. Rooms were big (suites) and well featured although tables beside the beds would be nice touch! Nice and quiet rooms great to sleep in.

terrible service pretty hotel near Eiffel Tower”
The hardware is great but the service is very inconsistent. The concierge offered to help us with our New Year's eve plans, and even took my email address saying he'd follow up with specific tips, and then failed to send anything, so on that key night, which is also the night before my GF's birthday, we wondered aimlessly for most of the night and had the worst dinner of our trip. On the plus side, the hotel is small in a pretty residential area a half block from the Seine and across from the Eiffel Tower. If you get a room with a balcony, you will be able to open up your room to the Paris feeling. However, there is not much else in the immediate area, so you will spend a lot on taxis -- and many drivers do not know the hotel or the street. The deluxe rooms are tiny and missing a few details. For example, next to your bed, there is no table, so anything you are using before falling asleep winds up on the floor. The table opposite the bed is so small that you can barely put a few things. The shower splashes all over the bathroom floor. Beware -- the breakfast is not included , it's very basic.

We really liked the interior design of the hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Given that in Paris all hotels are overpriced, the price is al right. We booked what they call a Junior Suite, which basically just was what in other countries would be considered to be a regular size room in this category. In that respect, the Sezz is part of the regrettable trend of hotels to grossly overstate categories (has anybody been able to book a "standard room" lately? They seem to start with "superior at least"). The breakfast was nice, but overpriced, and one baklava doesn't make an oriental breakfast. Apart from these two flaws, I would recommend this hotel to those who prefer a bit flashy albeit tasteful decor over the all-too-standard beige color scheme and a friendly staff over the machine-like professionalism of big hotel chains.
