“Had an initial disappointing experience ”
I was so amazed the first time I stayed there but I stayed in the other building. The room was gorgeous and the bathroom was absolutely insane. It was full of plants and even though the shower head was a bit rusty I didn’t care because everything else was magical. However the last time I went was during Chinese New Year which I understand means people are busy but this is a business and you should check everything and take care of things. I understand mistakes happen so it’s okay but I was still quite in shock. I booked a big room with 2 beds for my mom, who was visiting Taiwan, and I. The actual door was hard to find and I had to call the person in charge to give me the passcode to enter. Last time they just sent it to me on LINE. And I did message them. The person I called was just speaking so fast and even though I speak Chinese I just had to ask him to slow down and also text me the passcode. Then to our horror when we enter the room it was all messy, full of hairs, empty liquor bottles and food packages. It was like no one knew we were coming and I was absolutely outraged. I called the person in charge and they asked if I needed 2 rooms. I didn’t necessarily need 2 rooms but I needed 2 beds as booked. He gave me 2 rooms at no extra charge which was nice but my mom was already not feeling great about the place before we even got in so it wasn’t a great experience for her. I felt quite embarrassed at first because I insisted in booking this place. I think I would only stay in the other building just because it looks nicer too. And avoid long holidays like this to minimize mistakes.
