Lovely hotel ,customer service excellent, room was very small but immaculate comfy bed and ideal for a short visit ,would upgrade room if I ever go back but overall very happy with stay, work being done at the back of hotel outside so if you looking for a lie in change room ,didn't bother me as up at 7.30 am . Also the hotel requests a 400 euro refundable deposit held on your credit card, on check in even if room was prepaid, which doesn't clarify this when booking and feel should clearly state this when booking although it was no problem feel should be made aware of this . On a whole had a great time staff are very helpful ,hotel spotless and breakfast was delicious so would definitely return although I would advise to upgrade your room for a more enjoyable experience . The hotel was perfect for us. We were in Nice to see the sites and everything on the Cote d'Azur, so we spent little time in the hotel, but it was exactly what we needed. Amazing location, really central. Easy to get to from the airport. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and even a supermarket on the same street, should you need it. The hotel was very very clean(tidying and towel change everyday!!) and the staff was so nice every time!The room is great for 2 ppl and the AC works great They also had the option of a buffet breakfast and it is great for an energy refill in the morning, we ate there 4 times out of 5 breakfasts . I honestly think we couldn't have made a better choice! Thank you :)

We stayed in room 22 and I’m glad I spent a little extra on it. The view is spectacular. There is a balcony and you can surely enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine!!! The rooms are spacious. The bathroom clean. The staff are very courteous. We arrived early however the very sweet lady at the reception let is check in early! The breakfast was good. The lady and the young man(sorry didnt get their names) were very kind and helpful!!! Just to be aware of a fact that the lift is too small may be just about fits two people, but that wasnt a huge issue. It is close to all the sights including the viewing point, the flower market, old town etc. Overall a 4 star hotel!!! If only there were a pool!!!!!

The Mercure really performed, it was a bit surprising being that this is a big chain. Usually you get this kind of attention to detail with a boutique hotel, but the Mercure really did a lot of things really great. LOCATION: This is the best located hotel in all of Nice. You are right across the street from the beach, you are an amble away from the Cours Saley with the little markets and great restaurants and you are on one end of a great shopping street with outdoor cafes and lots to see. STAFF: They were quite nice, we were offered two very good dinner recommendations that were spot on. ROOM: It was quite big and very clean. Not too noisy, just perfect.

Location is perfect. Next to train station and just outside the wall. Underground parking is available for €15. When we arrived, the ticket machine was broken and there's no parking attendant. So we went up to hotel reception and got a ticket to access In/out from parkade. Hotel offers L'Occitane amendities and it's pretty nice. Room was spacious. My husband and our 9 years old stayed in a 2 Bedroom suite on 260 for 2 days. There's only 1 washroom and no staircase which didn't match with what we saw on the picture when we booked through Agoda. When we asked the staff why we are paying for suite price and there's no staircase and only 1 washroom, the lady said sorry and that's it. I guess it's base on availability. Perhaps booking through the hotel directly would be better. Breakfast buffet was on promotion from €15 down to €12 and my boy ate for free. So considering €24 for 3 of us, it's pretty good deal as we woke up pretty early to start our day off.

Really beautiful hotel, but very expensive. Drinks at the hotel restaurant were on average €26, a cappuccino was €10, and a lounge chair at the beach was €56 on the water (dock). My standard room was comfortable but small and faced the parking lot. The room itself was nice, but nothing special. The hotel it's self and the location on the Croisette are the best things about it.

Really nice hotel in a great position for central nice and the old town. Excellent staff. My only criticism is that the indoor pool was not heated anything like enough. It needs checking daily and adjusting when necessary. It is not the point that it’s connected to the outdoor via a plastic cover and that’s why it cold. It simply needs turning up the heat to make like you would expect from a heated indoor pool. On our last visit we stayed at the boscolo extra autograph hotel which is the Hyatt’s competitor. Their pool was properly heated. Please review this as it was one of the main reasons we chose the Hyatt. But the pool was too cold to enjoy.

Fantastic old Dame of a hotel, just a garden away from the Negresco but significantly less expensive. Nicely refurbished rooms, some with fantastic views. Staff all very efficient and kind. We were upgraded to a larger rooms as we had booked twin beds and originally assigned a queen. This was a corner unit, handicapped accessible with large wet bathroom. Some delightful interior design features. Parking was 1 euro per hour in the next door public car park.

Great stay, only one night as in transit. We were happy with the location, in the Old Town, much more interesting that the new part. The beach is only one block away, and there is a private beach for guests (though you have to book ahead and pay). Beaches are poor after Australia - pebbles and people jammed in like sardines. However, the beach is a place to be seen, not necessarily to enjoy. In fact, if you want good beaches, Australia is the best destination for water quality, sand and space. Would recommend this for a taste of European Riviera

Clean and cozy room at a very convenient location in the city center. Nice and helpful staff. If you arrive at late night, ask them in advance so they will instruct you how to get in the room even after their reception time is ended and you can officially check-in next morning. Some simple kitchen equipment, dinnerware and cutlery are provided in the room so you can cook simple dishes bringing in your own foods and seasonings if you like. Supermarkets are near by or within walking distance. One concern to me was that the room was described as "no view" room, but I actually had a good view of city and open sky from a pair of tall windows, which was better than I wished for. This hotel is not for someone who likes to have services for everything or an opulent, gorgeous stay at a five-star hotel, but one of my best hotel choices I ever made, as I would rather prefer staying with taste of a local life.

Lovely hotel - have stayed here a few times - stayed in a classic room which is very well laid out and a good size - nice and light and bright with lots of hanging space, comfy large bed, desk space to work if you need it and really nice chic interior - it does look like the photos. We stayed on the street but you couldnt hear a thing which was my concern. I prefer this location to the water front as the water front has a lot of traffic and is crowded and constantly noisy. In a great location if you like shpping as its in the middle of it all. Easy short walk to restaurants and lovely tiny cafe next door called The Lady if you want a great coffee with a smile (hotel breakfast great but just saying incase you want another one!). The pool is only small but there are a lot of sun beds. The bar area is great - my husband particularly liked it! Booked to stay again.

I booked this hotel because it was near to the place I am going to board a midnight bus nearby. I did not expect a high quality of apartment hotel since I have been travelling a lot but Appart'City was really surprised me with the clean room and kitchenette and toilet. I particularly like the kitchenette because got dish washer and even microwave though the place is small. Of course with all the pots and utensils. If I ever travel to France again I will definitely stay with them again.

It was an awesome view of the Nice rivera, worth all it takes to stay at Radisson Blu. It was a clean hotel and the front desk staff was very helpful in checking us in, giving an upgrade to a room with very good view. There is a tram station right behind the hotel from where airport and the old town are away just a 7-8 minutes ride. There was excellent breakfast and very good gymnasium and sauna. If there's a place in Nice to make you feel special, it's the Radisson Blu!!

We had a great 2 nights stop over in Nice. Check in is super quick. All staff was nice and friendly and spoke good English. Close to train stations but beware the taxis here is a rip off 25 euros for less then 15 min taxi ride from Nice Ville station to the hotel... Come on! Room was clean although the carpet could do with a good scrub. There's a lot of Halal butchers, fast food and restaurants close by. Shopping centre where you can buy groceries, clothes shopping etc. is just across the road. Hop on hop off bus stop just down the road about 10 min walk, everything is walkable distance. They have a self service laundry too but the only thing that sucks about this is the dryer doesn't dry in one cycle you have to do 2 cycle. Bit expensive to wash your clothes 4.50 for wash and 3.50 to dry (forgot the exact amount sorry) If we ever come to Nice again would definitely stay here!

I stayed in Hotel Ozz as a single female traveller for 5 nights. It was the best decision I ever made. With the option of female only dormitories, I met lots of other female travellers and had a great holiday. The beds also had draw-around curtains and a light and powerpoint at each bed, making them private and comfortable. The hostel itself was clean, bright and welcoming, encouraging you to stay around the common area. I can't recommend it highly enough. Stay at this hostel!

The hotel was good and but I was truly disappointed by the front counter misrepresentation. It is the practice that front counter during the check in will highlight whether the booking is with or without breakfast and if it is without breakfast front counter will offer the breakfast package by letting know the guest the breakfast cost per pax. Such is the practice across the whole world even those hotel without standard and not to mention Novotel. The front counter girl, Vanessa, DIDN'T mention that my stay without breakfast and DIDNT even let me know how much is the cost of the breakfast. Charges must be made known to guest upfront (that's the practice for any industry not to mention hoteline). Vanessa surprised me after my 3 night stays during the check out issuing me a bill for the breakfast. Vanessa realized that was her mistake and voluntarily offered a waiver for a day but I have decided okay to pay first and letting her to discuss with her superior. Surprised me the superior emailed acknowledging that it was her staff mistake and agreed that during the check in Vanessa should have highlighted the breakfast was not included and offer us the breakfast by informing us the rate of the breakfast but she didn’t offer any remedy for the mistake! Not even a day that Vanesssa proposed earlier!! I found that it is very unfair to me to bear the cost of the wrongdoing of their hotel staff. And super ridiculously the manager in email highlighting that “The cost of breakfast is mentioned in the rooms, outside of the hotel, in internet and behind the desk”!! So?? Does that mean the front counter is not replied to bried the guest before checking in?? i was travelling 16N19D for this trip staying in 7 hotels. It is impossible for me to remember all the types of room I booked and the included amenities be it twin or double bed, smoking or non-smoking, with or without breakfast during my trip having checking in and checking out in hotels in Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Aix en pr

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. It started with a warm welcome at the front desk with well informed staff. We liked the location of the hotel convenient to tourist areas, old town, walking streets and restaurants. The good buffet breakfast and the free newspapers available in the lobby were a nice bunus. We understand that free internet is coming soon but we had to subscribe to Orange to get connected and resented paying for that when most hotels seem to offer free connection.

We enjoyed our 9-day stay in Goldstar Resort. The suite (room nr. 501) included a separate bedroom for us parents and comfortable sofa beds for our school-aged kids. A fridge in the kitchenette, separate toilet and bathroom and lots of space was appreciated by us. Location is very good - close to railway station where we took a train to Monaco and a waterpark Aquasplash (Marineworld) and a short walk to the beach. There were also several restaurants and a supermarket within a short walk. We ate breakfast in the hotel and enjoyed it very much. The rate of 20 euros for an adult and 10 euros for a child is reasonable, at least if you like to fill up in the morning. The food was fresh and there was a lot of variety: bread, cheese, omelette, sausages, fruits, watermelon, strawberries, croisants etc. The staff in the restaurant and at the bar at the swimming pool was friendly. The downsides are only minor: the elevator sometimes had a mind of it's own and refused to take you to the floor you wanted to go to; the clenears sometimes forgot to fill up tissue or something else in the room; the decor is bit 90's for my liking (no esthetic joy in the room); the shower was a bit difficult to adjust to the right temperature. But all in all we'd definetely choose this hotel again!

The hotel has a good location about 6-8 minutes from the beach. My room overlooking the outdoor pool was lovely. Clothes closet space was limited. The staff was very accommodating. The only negative was that I had to pay an additional city tax upon departure. It was not a large amount, but I thought the total bill had been prepaid. An unexpected plus was that there was a "Handy" smartphone available to me during my stay. This allowed me to make international phone calls without additional cost! Would defitnitely consider a return visit.
