"Hotel was located near to many of the hotspots (e.g. Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Printemps Haussmann, Paris Opera and etc) in Paris with walking distance. Basic amenities were available in the hotel and there are convenient store within 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. However, service provided by one of the staff was not that friendly. Requested whether there is other available room after found out that the door cannot be locked properly but was being rejected without checking for the availability. Overall still satisfy with everything. "

" The hotel is basic and has everything you would expect from a three-star hotel. The bed was soft and the pillows and duvet were clean and comfortable. We stay in January so the heating in the room was lovely and warm. The shower was basic and clean and they had a hairdryer. They allowed us to check in early which was great since we arrived on New Year's day tired from our journey. There was always someone on reception which made us feel safe. Overall a good hotel. The location was great! Walking distance from the main train station in Paris, and right near a metro station. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around and even a supermarket. I would stay there again! "This hotel is in the Montmartre area which is great especially if you are a first time visitor to Paris and you'd like to cross Montmartre and Sacre-Couer on your list of places to visit. The room-- We booked an eco double room and please note that this room will be a bit cramped. No AC unit either. We were there in the summer during the heatwave and boy was it stifling. But luckily, the hotel had a fan to lend us. Though small, it was very clean. There's a sink in the room. Showers and toilets were shared. If I'm not mistaken, the toilet is shared for two floors. They can arrange airport transfers for 18 euros per pax, which is a really good price considering how Uber expensive can get. All in all, we were very pleased with the hotel and would recommend it."

"Anne at the counter deserves special appreciation as she really helped me. Language is a big problem in Paris and Anne compensated for it. Other staff at the restaurant were very very helpful and I found the entire staff to be smiling all the time. The room is ok. The washroom/toilet was very clean but too small. Two people could not stand by the wash basin. However it was very very clean and renovated just like the original style. The area out of the elevator to go towards the rooms was dark, and extremely small. It could only accommodate only 2 people where as there were more then 3 double rooms on that floor. There are good and bad sides of every place. Considering that it is in the center of the city, walking distance from buss stop and the metro and also to many other places, I would strongly recommend everyone to stay at Hotel De Geneva. It's high quality with very affordable price. "

"our 4 nights stay here was the best choice of hotel. Firstly, I underestimated this hotel regarding the 2 stars it has, but as we accomodated, I realised that was a preconception. About the staff, they were very helpful, they gave us a city map, they speak english very well all of them. We had coffee every morning, even if we didn't buy the breakfast (personel insisted in having breakfast every morning, FOR FREE). Our room was rather small, but nothing unusual for Paris; it was cleaned every morning after leaving the room. Our bed was made up every day even if we arranged it before leaving in the city. Yes, you can easily see that time passed a lot through the furniture (it is old, but still "functional"), but it's a cosy room with a very cosy bed. The towels were changed every day, if needed. I only have to say that it isn't luxurious, but it worth the money definetily!!! With a little renovation, they should consider on gaining 3 stars because I saw 3 stars hotels which are far worse! oh yes, the localisation... The hotel is situated in north-east of the city, as you can see on the map:). The main idea is that it has a great location, as we were often walking by foot to the city center. It is near to Gare du Nord( 400-500 m), but the nearest metro station is CADET. You can easily arrive in any part of the city from this metro station (Paris has a very complex metro sistem at first sight, but once you got the idea of it, it is very simple to get everywhere). The hotel is a few streets distance from Sacre Coeur (must see). There is even a supermarket near the hotel. Tip: there are many restaurants arround the hotel, you won't get starving, for sure;) In conclusion, we were very satisfied by the hotel and if you look for a modest, but cosy and clean stay, don't hesitate making a booking at Hotel Opera Paris! PAY ATTENTION TO PICKPOCKETS IN THE CITY!!!!!!!!!"

"I was delighted we booked this hotel. The rooms were incredibly quiet, clean + beds were comfortable, perfect for my mum + sisters. Facilities in the hotel are very basic but that didn't make a difference to us. One touch I really liked was the provision of all kinds of water from a machine and hard sweets free of charge. The location is very good in the opera district bad beside the shops. Staff were helpful when needed. My mum and sister had breakfast there one morning. My mum was happy as it was simple and very basic as she wanted. My sister was less impressed and I was glad the two of had not wasted €15 each. We ate in a restaurant right beside the hotel recommended by the receptionist which was really lived and very casual. A few things they could improve on is their hotel booking system, in particular the very useless IM chat. Also I emailed for help beforehand and the response was unhelpful. The hotel is lacking a personal touch."
