Conveniently located budget hotel”

We had a pleasant stay at the New Hotel Saint Lazare, while small, the room was clean and warm and the staff were friendly and helpful. It lived up to its billing as a centrally located budget hotel. We would use it again for a short stay in Paris.

Excellent Location and Great Price”

This hotel is located in a central and convenient area in Paris, right next to a Metro. We couldn't believe what a deal we got on the price of the room. It was nothing special (you get what you pay for) but it's not like we were spending all our time in the room. It was functional and relatively neat, even if a little too small.

Nice and clean ”

Great location for the price, small but clean room, helpful staff. Only one complaint from me - no hair dryer in the room, we could borrow one from front desk, but hotel has only one hairdryer for all the customers, so it wasn’t available sometimes. Anyway would recommend a hotel a short stay.

Very Good Location! ”

We went to Paris for 4 days and 3 nights. It was a very good location, it was near the Opera and there were stations for hop on hop off bus and Roissy Bus going to the airport. It was also near Place de Clinchy train station so it was easy to go to places. It was a budget hotel but over-all it was a pleasant stay.

Nice and Small room”

All is expected as a small room in Paris. Reception lady can be more friendly. The gentleman who attended me was friendly and more patient with my request. Good job!

great location”

First time to go Paris, nv tried other hotels, room maybe round 10 square meters, very small. Hotel staff very nice, we early check in(we check in around 11AM, hotel check in time is 2pm) without extra charge! Our room faces to road but not noisy! Overall this hotel is good!

Good choice. ”

Hotel room is small but it is enough for 2 person + 2 large luggage. Hotel located between 2 metro station within 5 minutes walking distance with surrounded by good foods. Hotel breakfast is sufficient however it is same for whole week (hmmm. Easy to get boring sometimes.) Anyway, it is a good choice. No regret.

Close to station ”

Overall experience is satisfactory. The location is good for visiting various attractions in Paris. Walkable distance to large shopping malls such as Lafayette and Printstemp. There's a metro station and 2 bus lines about 2 mins away. Slight drawback is that the room is quite small and the bed is soft. A tiny lift which fits only 4 slim people without any luggage.

Helpful staffs ”

Big thanks to the staffs in this hotel! They helped me to receive a little parcel in their hotel & helped me to save a file in the computer. Without their help, I can’t finish my work smoothly there! The location is very convenient. It’s around 10 minutes walk to have shopping malls & restaurants. & the metro station is just nearby. The breakfast is basic. But everything is good enough to stay in a clean & cosy place.

Pleasant Stay”

Room is good for 1 person. Hotel is very close to Liege Metro Station so it's a plus. My stay was very comfortable. Can request for Airport Shuttle transfer, just ask the receptionist. Negative: There is no air conditioning (but they told me it's normal in France) so I just opened the window, no blankets provided, just 4 pillows. I had a big luggage but because the room is small, I can't open it fully on the floor. All in all it was a pleasant stay and would probably stay again in the future.

Small hotel with a good location”

Everything in this hotel is small (the room, bathroom, lift). It is a convenient hotel if you just need rest or sleep and go all day long. The staff was really helpful. The location is great, near the metro, restaurant, carrefour..

Very good”

15 minutes walk to Opera Garnier and La Fayette. Breakfast is simple, but it is okay. Nice room with balcony, you can feel the vibes of Paris. Everything went well, we did not face any issues.

cheap hotel for a short stay”

it's relatively cheaper than other hotels in central Paris. Because it is on the hills, so it's quite challenging to carry one's own luggage up the cobblestones after a tiring flight, even from Europe continent. I asked the staff for a possible tour to Versaille Palace, and got cold answers for it. The room was cozy but little. It was nice coz i was never at the hotel during daytime. You have to hold the showerhead all the time, and yes, the facilities were kinda old. Especially the elevator. It's kinda of difficult to walk through the pathway since it was obviously made for one person to walk through. I carried my 10kg-luggage, and just barely walked through. Because the card key to my room didn't work out, they said i shouldn't have put above my mobile, thus i had to walked down again with my luggage, and it almost killed me to do it twice. There were a good bakery within two mins if you cross the street, and a grocery stone selling drinks within 5 mins distance. :(

Good”

New hotel was in a very good location close many restaurants and shops . The staff were friendly and happy to help . The room was ok although needed a kettle and tea/coffee or even a bottle of water. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen and very cramped and out dated . For anyone tall or of a bigger size I’m sure they wouldn’t be able to fit ! The lift was also tiny just being able to fit 2 people inside without luggage. Overall it’s not bad and the beds were very comfortable but the size of the room was certainly not for families as it basically has 2 beds and a small desk and chair and no space for anything else!

Value for money especially for those looking for good location but won’t stay in room too Long. The only downside is without the boiler and air conditioning. We are here during falls so weather is bit cooling and ok without air conditioning. but not sure how when it comes to summer. Lift is pretty small only can fit 2 people with 2 big bags. Staff generally is ok, can speak little English. Overall cleaniliness is acceptable . Toilet shower hot water not stable , it suddenly became cold water in mid of shower and this situation goes and back few times.

A walk to train station”

the hotel is very recommendable for business and couple traveler that doesn't mind amenities. Breakfast is ok and it is near to the restaurant and train station

5 to 8 min from metro Place de clichy, room was small but ok, value for money...night clubs and pubs are very near to the location for who loves to enjoy night life. i will consider to stay on my next visit to paris.

Disappointed by the: - really tiny rooms - no cleaning of the room between both nights, despite the fact we had put the sign on the door (the sign was placed back inside the room, but the room was not cleaned at all, beds were not done and towels not changed) Very good location inside Paris, that's the only real advantage of this hotel.
