There was a mistake during my stay, but the room itself was clean and comfortable, so I was okay with it. However, when I extended my stay, I had a really unpleasant experience with one of the reception staff. I had received an email confirming that I could stay in the same room, but no one informed me that I needed to update my keycard. So when the card didn’t work, I went to the front desk — and the male staff member was extremely rude. I had left my passport in the room because I didn’t expect any issues, but he harshly questioned why I didn’t have an ID with me, as if I had done something wrong. It made me feel really uncomfortable and disrespected. I had actually liked this hotel a lot and was considering extending my stay even further, but honestly, every time something happens, there’s no internal communication among the staff. They say sorry in emails, but no one ever actually apologizes in person. The hotel is clean and well located, but if anything goes wrong, you’ll see what I mean — the way they handle issues is really disappointing. None of this was my fault, and yet I had to deal with that kind of attitude. That’s what upset me the most.
