La Defense hotels & places to stay

We've been staying at this hotel since November last year solely for business purpose and we continue to book through agoda at this hotel because the place is ideally located to our customers and our car is safe because they have covered parking space. breakfast selection is good enough for us to begin our business transaction. We will continue to book to this hotel because this is the best hotel we can use for our business purpose.

The price is very reasonable, only USD52. The location is a bit far from city center, but the 15-min tram connection will do the job just fine. Extremely clean and newly renovated room. Hot water supply is very steady. Kettle and hairdryer arr available.Free Wifi works perfectly, but of course, do not expect to watch YouTube with it. Breakfast not included. We didn't try theirs but it looks nice enough. Kind and helpful staff, who allows us to check in very early (around 10 am) without extra charges. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The room is not too big but cozy. Not sound proof as we could hear noises from the upper level. Some of the staffs were friendly and nice. It was close to the bus-stop and it takes about 10 minutes to the closest station, La Defense. It is convenient to travel to many places from La Defense station, for example to the Champs Elysees avenue for shopping. Also quite convenient to travel to Eiffel Tower form La Defense.

It is a 3 star hotel because the rooms are small, especially the shower stall! I would definitely stay here again though because the bed was extra comfortable and the room layout makes it convenient to charge your electronic gadgets. The staff is very nice and so speak English well. Only 5-10minutes from the metro, depending how fast you walk. The nearby Metro takes you to Line 1 which leads to all the major sightseeing spots of Paris. The hotel is very cute, modern colors (colorful) and design. Elevator is very small. Can probably only handle 1 person at a time with luggage.

Although I needed to find a hotel on the very day and the checking in time was very late, the staff welcomed us with very kind attitude. The hotel was very quiet and closely located to the train station which is just a few min away. The room was clean and nice size, compared with the normal hotel size in the central Paris. Highly recommended for solo travelers and couples.

Very helpful and friendly staff! Nice to have a fridge and cooking facilities in a common area on each floor. Quite location within short walking distance to shops, restaurants and La Defense. Rooms very minimalistic, no body lotion (have not asked for it, I am sure they have some on stock), on the other side teh shops are only a few minutes walk away to buy whatever you need. They have a billard table and an outdoor pool (not yet open due to the cold season).

We went there for a couple nights and we Loved it’s location in relation to the top attractions in Paris. A few minutes on the bus (which has a stop one minute away) can get you to the Arc of Triomph followed by the Champs Elysee. Its location is not close to the CD airport, but again very easy transportation. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I told them that the sink was clogged and we went back at night, it was all fixed. We didn’t try their breakfast because it had lots of nearby restaurants so I cannot comment on that. Overall, the hotel was worthy the amount of money we paid.

We stayed for one week. They gave us free upgrade to balcony room since I thought my original room had balcony; a very kind gesture for 1st time with Aparthotel Adagio company. Location was very good only a short walk to carrefour, Esplanade de La Defense station, and a cute cafe right across that had good food. Rooms were spacious and clean, we loved the bathroom. Kitchen was alright it just needed a cutting board and saucepan, only problem was the induction stove won't stay hot continually so it took a long time to boil water, if you are in a hurry you need to time your cooking. Facilities were perfect, everything you need. We love the RDC room it was useful. Only problem was there was one time our luggage was tampered with but nothing was stolen which is why I never made it a big deal, we did have to reorganize our luggage all over again which was time-consuming. We still don't know why this happened so please lock your luggage every time you leave your room.

The hotel is in La Defense (M1, Not RER A Station). It is easy to get around. The room is clean but very small. 　The experience is poor. The TV has no English channel. There is only one power socket in room. There is no gym in the hotel. The staff is not very nice. No fridge in the room. No free bottle water. No kettle. And the price can be really high. So I would not recommend this hotel. I can find nicer ones in Paris.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, however, the name is very confusing. As always, before arriving at a hotel in Europe, I would call their staff to see if the hotel was close to a train or a metro station (as you know taxi in Europe is very pricy). I did try to call the hotel, but it went straight to voicemail every time. Therefore, we assumed it was located close to La Defense stop. We got off of there and had to take the taxi to the hotel because it was not at a walking distance from the La Defense station especially if you have a luggage with you. The taxi cost us 9 euros from the station to the hotel. We later found out that the closest station, I mean right next to hotel is actually train RER A (red line) station Nanterre Prefecture. If we had this information beforehand, it would've made our lives much easier.

Travelled with my parents to Paris. This is my 4th time in Paris but it was my first time living in this area. The hotel is very near to the Esplanade La Defense metro and it's about 5-10 minutes walk to the La Defense RER A line which is a direct line to Disneyland Paris and La Vallee Village. There's a shopping mall nearby as well which is useful if you decide to cook as the hotel provides with cooking utensils and dishwasher. We did end up cooking for one night as we were returning late and there is not much restaurant around apart from the ones in the mall. The place is fairly clean and there is an optional daily charge for housekeeping if you need it. We never used it and we just tidy up as we go. There's a dishwasher and a small broom in the closet and you can borrow a vacuum from the reception if you need one. We did enjoy our stay here and would most likely return to stay here in the future.

arrived early (8+am) and was expecting to leave my luggage with the hotel as check-in is at 2pm. but a room was available and with no quibbles at all, i was given the key to move in. nice counter staff. rooms (mine is a double) were on the small side (this is paris-do you really want to stay in your hotel room all day?) but the bathroom was decently sized. clean and comfortable. there are buses to the metro stations just outside the hotel and across the river. but i would recommend walking to the pont de neuilly station as it is only 15 minutes away and most of the walk is alongside the seine river. beautiful! and if you are tired of doing the tourist trap shopping in paris central, take a walk or metro to la defense grande arche, there's a temps shopping centre there which caters to the locals who do not make it a point of shopping at hermes on a regular basis! all in, good value and great location, and best of all, it is not a typical foreign tourist hotel which has a generally higher decibel and traffic volumes.

the apartment is situated in a quiet and clean area, although it is about 10 minutes walk from la defense metro/train station, it's still convenient as we could take either metro or train to wherever we wished to in paris. unlike those areas near gare de nord or other train stations, la defense is mainly a commercial and residential area, people around are gentle, not so complicated and you can feel more safe and relax there. a small grocery is nearby closing at around 10pm where we can buy all basic food and needs there. the flat we stayed was on the top floor, we could even enjoy our breakfast and dinner with eiffel tower within our eyesight. the guys at the reception were helpful and friendly and i'll absolutely recommend this apartment to others. anyway, one thing to complain - there's no window in the toilet.

despite being located not in the very city centre (10 minutes walk to metro station and 15-20 minutes metro ride to the centre afterwards), we quite liked the hotel's location in la defense which has plenty of dining and shopping opportunities. our rooms were a bit small but neat and tidy, breakfast good and the reception staff helpful. overall the hotel offered outstanding value for money for the new year in paris, we will gladly be back!
