Das Appartement ist geräumig, die Zimmeraufteilung lässt genügend Privatsphäre zu, z. B. durch die beiden Badezimmer. Seife, Spülmittel, etc. muss man nicht selbst besorgen, wären in ausreichender Menge vorhanden, die Dame von der Hausverwaltung, die uns bei der Anreise empfing, war sehr nett. Die Betten sind bequem und man hat genügend Stauraum.
Things I don’t like
Die Beschreibung des Appartements entspricht nicht ganz der Realität, z.B. ist der Strand zwar in unmittelbarer Nähe, ist jedoch kein Privatstrand. Das war für uns ein Buchungskriterium. Es stimmt zwar, dass man vom Balkon einen Blick aufs Meer hat. Zwischen Anlage und Meer liegen jedoch eine stark befahrene Straße sowie Bahnstrecke. Zu diesem Lärm kommt noch hinzu, dass das Appartement in der Einflugschneise des Flughafen Nizza liegt. Wem es wichtig ist, Ruhe im Urlaub zu haben, sollte dies wissen. In der Beschreibung stand außerdem, dass die Kaution über eine Kreditkarte hinterlegt werden kann. Vor der Anreise wurde man jedoch von der Unterkunft aufgefordert, ein internes System zu nutzen. Das hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst. Im Zeitalter von Phishing-Mails Sorgen solche Aufforderungen per Mail für Irritationen. Die Tiefgarage ist sehr, sehr eng und nicht geeignet für ab Mittelklassewagenkategorie aufwärts. Wir konnten sie nicht nutzen und mussten außerhalb der Anlage parken. Der Pool war zwar als saisonaler Pool ausgezeichnet, war jedoch im letzten Jahr bis Anfang November geöffnet. Da hätten wir uns ein konkretes Datum gewünscht und dann eine andere Unterkunft gebucht, wenn klar gewesen wäre, dass der Pool bereits im Oktober geschlossen wäre. Die Sitzmöbel im Wohnzimmer sind stark abgenutzt und staubig. Wir haben uns nicht aufs Sofa setzen können, weil es uns geekelt hat. Auf den ersten Blick wirkte das Appartement sauber, zum Beispiel die Toiletten, aber das war nicht überall der Fall, zum Beispiel war Staub auf dem Glastisch, etc. Ihn hatte schon lange niemand geputzt, das heißt, es wird anscheinend selektiv sauber gemacht. Das Schlimmste war jedoch die Überschwemmung im Appartement. Zweimal hatten wir Starkregen. Beim ersten Mal informierten wir die Hausverwaltung, dass das Wasser zentimeterhoch auf der Terrasse stand, da das Fallrohr, welches das Wasser vom Dach ableitet auf der Terrasse des Appartements endet.
