Our stay at Apo View was without drama. A clean and friendly establishment with attentive and accommodating staff. Value for money, but as an older establishment does not provide all the bells and whistles of a new 5 star development. The rooms were of generous proportions, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning sufficient but the accouterments scarce. Water supply was plentiful, but was very slow in reaching the required temperature for an enjoyable shower. The meals offered were adequate, the cafe suitable, the bar well-stocked even though it doubles as a karaoke area which is not concomitant for a relaxing after dinner drink. The pool area was underutilized and suffered from an over supply of chlorine in the water making it very difficult to enjoy as it was dangerous for eye health. The attached Casino was small by nature with limited games available.... this did not have any impact on the security of friendliness of the hotel itself. The garden offed options for relaxatio

Superb stay here. I made a quick trip to the Philippines from the states and came straight to Davao for the 2017 Kadayawan. I stayed a total of 5 nights but I spent 2 nights here at SEDA and 3 nights downtown to be close to the activities and parades. I booked a room with executive lounge access that was on the 10th floor, while the executive lounge was one floor above. I had checked out of my downtown hotel after the kadayawan festivities mid-morning and they allowed me to check in upon arrival at around 10am. Staff bent over backwards and I didn't even have to ask. Didn't have to ask for a room with a great view of the city, but I sure got one, an end room with an absolutely awesome wide view. It was great falling asleep at night above the light of the city. I had a major fall during a mountain trail run the day before, and one of my wounds that I didn't get stitched that needed it, reopened and bled a fair amount. I called the front desk and asked if they had bandages and staff came up to my room with a large first aid kit and took care of it. Thanks so much Seda, I will be back around Araw ng Dabaw 2018!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Pinnacle hotel. The staff were simply outstanding, so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very central to every thing with just a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport. The presentation of the hotel is so clean and neat I even asked how new the hotel was, the answer was 5 years old, there was only a couple of things with the rooms and around the hotel that might need to be improved on like the housekeeping and general maintenance around the hotel but all in all it was an awesome stay at the hotel. The food was some of the best I've ever had, but I just thought that they didn't quite cater to children with the menu as I didn't see much in the way of a children's selection. Prices at the hotel are very reasonable and well worth this review Still I would recommend the Pinnacle Hotel and Suites to anybody who is travelling to Davao in the Philippines.

I was booking at green windows dormitel a few months before staying there, the hotel is an FTC tower building and the green windows is located at the fifth floor. One block of the ground floor building is the entrance to the hotel, and it has an elevator and a stairway spiral with green glass walls to walk through in case you need some variation in mode of transport to the hotel floors. On arrival we were told that the room is a no smoking room and the cafeteria is at at the fifth floor where we can have our free breakfast. The staff is friendly and courteous enough to receive us, and lead us to our room at the 6th floor. The hallway is large enough and is carpeted. The room is just enough, the noise outside can not be heard inside the room, it has a cable tv a very cold aircon which we have to adjust the temperature from time to time. The hotel is a new hotel just a year old since operation. The walls of the hotel is made of green out p but without windows. The tree and the grasses that surrounds the hotel as seen online is non existing as it is surrounded by residences with old buildings. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay as it is within the city center and close to other establishments, the people's park is just a walking distance where we roamed on Christmas night. Security is very important as well as there is a guard in every hotel floor, we have not lost any belonging.

I was upgraded upon arrival, so this may affect my rating of the hotel. But having stayed in very many hotels in the Philippines, this was one of the best (in the business hotel price range). The room was large with a great view. The swimming pool was good. The breakfast was inconsistent with different items missing from the plate each day but tasted OK. This has been a magnificent hotel in its day and it was nice to see weddings, parties and cultural things happening there. Easy walk around the city area and short taxi rides to other parts.

A nice mid-range hotel in the heart of the city. Everything was very comfortable. The regular rooms have a shower (no tub) and all the little things you normally get in a hotel. The food was good though a little expensive and net was good though a little slow even for this area. The staff was very helpful and professional. All-in-all this hotel is a safe bet for a shopping trip or a weekend away in Davao but may be a little short on amenities for a week long vacation or a business trip where good net is important. This is my third stay here so I recommend it for the occasional short trip and I think it is one of the better 3-Star hotels in the area for the price.

Upon late arrival at the hotel, the sound of the flowing water from the mini pond with huge koi fishes welcomed us. It was so relaxing. The hotel staffs were so accommodating, assisted us as soon as we stepped out the cab. Kulang na lng red carpet pagwelcome samin. As an eco friendly hotel, as expected, they do not have elevators, we were forced to go up to the 3rd floor where our room was located. But its okay, just seeing the writings on the wall beside the stairs saying how beneficial using the stairs are, it will surely make you want to climb the stairs than take the elevators. Haha. Location wise, i think it is convenient. Aside from there is a massage place just across the street which you can visit after a tiring day of gala, there is also a cute and fancy resto outside the hotel. Aside from the rainwater which went inside our room from the window because it was raining so hard on the night of our stay, everything’s perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room is big and clean. The bathroom is okay. The pool is okay but can be renovated or needs re-design to attract more travellers. Even the front and side view of the Hotel exterior needs renovation and re-design. The buffet breakfast is great. And the hotel staff even the guards are all helpful and polite. Although I think we paid a little higher than the average prices of the hotels in Davao, I think it's worth it and I will recommend this to my friends, and even go back to this hotel in the future :)

Hotel Uno has a nice reception area but is not as pictured; a full-wall mirror makes it look much larger in picture, and the golden chandelier glow was only used for the photography effect. In practice they never actually turn on that chandelier, so the reception area, although nice, remains pale white and relatively small. At the time this was the best hotel for the money I had stayed at in the Philippines. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are relatively large. My first room was LOUD due to honking, jackhammer, and buzzsaw noise on the street, so I transferred to a MUCH quieter room at the back of the hotel and rebooked there in-person as well. But when I transferred rooms I noticed a disturbing security flaw. The hotel keycards weren't working at the time, so they give you the physical override keys for the room locks. During transfer I had my old room's key and was waiting in front of the new room, which was locked, while the attendant brought up the new room's key. I tried the old room key on the new room door, and sure enough it opened it, despite the keys having different configurations. This suggests any one key could open a number of doors in the hotel, if not all of them. Very disturbing, although I didn't have any incidents. A final note: Davao is considered the cleanest city in the Philippines but this comes at a cost. Anyone visiting there should know that the longtime mayor Duterte (ironically a former lawyer) is an extremely violent, Saddam Hussen-style psychopath whose most notorious deed is setting up a still-operating outfit known as the Davao Death Squad which summarily executes drug runners and other criminals (go ahead, Google it). If you do visit Davao keep in mind that this guy is both crazy and very powerful there, so be on your BEST behavior.

This is my second time. My first stay was better in one of the suites. Choose the suite rooms if available. Great space. The room we stayed this time was okay twin sharing. Aircon was boxed type so a bit noisy. Toiletries were provided but toilet paper was so thin and only one roll. Had to keep asking I would still recommend this place for location-- near malls. One of the towels the second day had a bad smell like a roach. Parking was tight, or short. The rear part of the SUV was sticking out a bit on the street, but then there is a security guard that kept watch. We did not avail of the free breakfast. Breakfast available for a reasonable fee downstairs was good. I would say the hotel was a bit expensive for what it had to offer. But I would still recommend it; not sure if I will be returning though.

Hotel is located at the Central district of Davao city. Peace and order great. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Relatively new hotel with functional air con, fast Wi-Fi, and cable TV; hot and cold water for toilet and bath strong and functional. Our non-smoking room is big and clean. We asked for a ref at admission. Staff assistance Very good. Hotel is located at the corner of two street so access to public transport is not a problem. However for those who are "light sleepers" we suggest asking for a room facing the inner area and not a room facing the street. In general we got value for our money. We would recommend this hotel for our future visit.

...the feel of the place is warm..Upon arriving u will notice the clean and fresh lime scent ...u feel comfortable and safe with the place being at the heart of the city--with several malls nearby. the 7 Eleven store at the ground floor also made it convenient for solo travelers to buy some items needed. The room is clean with the basic amenities...the food in their resto is very ok. My thumbs up! I will definitely come back! It will be my new home in Davao!

Because of a last minute booking for an overnight stay, My husband ended up staying at First Pacific Inn Davao. He said that the rooms were small, but just enough to get his work done. The price of the stay was cheap, hence the room quality. But he noted that everything was clean and functional. The internet connection was also very fast. He said that he would surely stay at this Hotel next time for short trips to Davao.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Our initial room has dimmed lights so we asked to be transferred. They were booked solid due to kadayawan event but were able to transfer the following day to a much better one. Love the convenience as it is walking distance to shopping, food, and City Hall. The only thing the owners should change are those dim lights. Replace it with bright ones because it was hard to open our luggage (TSA with codes). Also very straining to the eyes. Another one is the parking. If they clear some of the items on the side it may be easier to get out. Other than that if you don't have a vehicle, plenty of taxis and jeepneys.

This is actually in Ponce Suites hotel located in quiet subdivision, so I had a peaceful stay - not much tourists about. The room was bigger than I expected which was nice. Air conditioning worked as expected and a comfortable bed. The hotel property is quite old, and unfortunately they seemed to have some issues with running water (no water coming out of the shower at one point). It was inconvenient for me to go down from the 3rd floor to bring up the issue with reception. They were attentive enough to turn it on so I assume it had some sort of maintenance schedule? They could have at least informed guests about that ahead of time.

i had a great stay with my brother and nieces.rooms are big with a receiving area on the first floor with kitchen and extra comfort room. complimentary breakfast is great and staff are friendly. great swimming pool which is free to use. availability of wifi but need to purchase a card to access. i suggest that it will be better if they offer wifi access for free. i am looking forward to book in again on this hotel and will recommend this place to my friends with huge family. i am sure that they will enjoy their stay while exploring davao city.

Don Manaloto, the General Manager, is hands-on in the operation of the hotel-- one major factor why service is excellent. Every staff goes out of his way to provide total guest satisfaction. The location is best for guests who would like to be "far from the maddening crowd" yet close to the activity centres of the city. I commend Ronald who drove us around the various destinations in Davao City and also Abby, the Front Office Manager, who has trained her front-liners to always wear a smile and patiently attend to the requirements of the guests. I recommend this place to everyone-- value for money, a three-star facility with a five-star service excellence. I hope to be back for the Kadayawan 2016 event this August.

I stayed at this hotel in July 2012 and I had always wanted to go back there. In 2012 there was a problem with the hot water going cold; but this time there was no problems at all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to be staying in Davao because it really is second to none in the Philippines. This isn't a five-star place with lots of glitz and glam, rather it is a journey through an artist's life with many captivating things to see. I'm going to have my relatives stay here for our wedding later on, I can't get enough of it.

Pros: -Accessible location. You can ride a jeepney in front of the hotel going to sasa wharf to samal. One ride to gmall, sm lanang, abreeza and robinsons. -Near San Pedro Cathedral, osmena park, d' bone collector museum, roxas market, peoples park, museo dabawenyo, city hall and freedom park (walking distance lang) or ride padyak or tricycle. - near bpi and bdo -restaurants everywhere -Clean room -free glutatione soap hahaha -free breakfast (but we failed to avail it) CONS -Noisy aircon -no elevator - hotel starts at the 3rd floor of the bldg. -not soundproof wall -broken deadlock -no hanger or any place to hang the towels.

Zen room is located inside Alu hotel. I checked the prices in Alu hotel and the cheapest room is Php2000 but I only paid Php910 for the room I booked here in Zen room. hehehe Thank you Agoda for the vouchers. It's cheap but the room is very spacious!! My boyfriend and I really loved it because it's clean, has a huge bed and the ambiance is very relaxing. It is right in front of Roxas Night Market so it's the best! The staff are also very kind. Our room was on the 4th floor but they have an elevator :D I would definitely come back here!

decent hotel within the city. Walking distance to Gmall. Stayed 4days3nights at the 2nd floor with deluxe twin bed and extra bedding for the kid. The room is just convenient for sleeping with occassional power blackout as scheduled within the city. Wifi is accessible although quite weak at the far end of the 2nd floor. I am able to access wifi outside of the room,at leats while seating at the 2nd floor lobby. Basic amenities are minimal with only 2pcs of soap and 1 roll of tissue for the rest of your stay. So better bring some of your toiletries with you. Although there's a drugstore at the ground floor , you can buy some of your stuff from there. A bakery also and an internet cafe right next to the building can be found. Parking is very hard as it is always full but I commend the good security guard who always assists us in parking. Overall this hitel is for those who find a place to sleep and the rest of the days empty coz they are always on the go. Not bad either coz everything else is within your reach.

Highly recomended to all city goers. quality for little money..Great place, great staff Well what a suprize i got when staying at this place. We are talking of traveling down a very busy filipino street thats buzzing with life. The area very comercialized with every day life of a filipino man/women. Food places where you can buy steak and rice with ice tea for less than £1, Stores from pharmacy to foods. Internaional banks. Airport just 30 mins away for as little as 110 pesos thats less than £2. A beach area to paradise and blue jazz island resorts. Its endless. From my exsperience the hotels ide stayed at from £35 up the quality i would call bad,, Like an english hostal with very basic rooms. Not here!.... I thought what am i going to get here... I entered what looked like a converted High rise house. On entering I was greeted by security and reception staff with a very warm welcoming. The first thing I noticed was how clean and new it looked. Walking up the stairs on marble floors I thought no It can not be true.. It was like walking through time.. 1940s outside 2010 inside. I opened my room door to be hit by this cool breeze from the air con and a real clean well dressed room. Double glazing and just unbelievable from what i had stayed in all week.this room cost me for 2 persons and was worth every penny. If you want quality for the money u pay being so little then this is the place. I am highley reomending this place. When Im in Davao next i will not even think of looking elsewhere. I wish the owner and the staff of this place the best. Well done for such a beautiful maintained place.
