Hotels near Montmartre

We stayed overnight in this hotel. It is nice that it is kept very clean. Also, they have good WiFi connection. The area of the hotel felt relatively safe. We were able to take walk around till late in the evening (11pm). The basilica is just a few blocks away which is good. We did our self-guided walking tour on a very relaxed pace. The staff were great and very kind to assist us in every way especially when we needed to confirm our booking with a tour agency. They let us leave our baggages with them throughout the day even when we have checked out already. There is this small Chinese restaurant nearby, seng ly, which serves very good food for a cheap price. Served us well when we were hungry and craving for rice! :) Carrefour is also just around the corner if you need to buy anything. Over all our stay in hotel montmartre was great! :)

Hotel close to Montmartre cathedral, cloth shops, shopping and Metro. Carrefour just up the road. Safe pay parking available. Rooms are clean and reasonably spacious, price is OK. Light continental breakfast included to get you started for the day. Closest Metro stop is an easy walk. Neighbourhood is interesting to walk in. Staff are nice. Only con is perhaps for elderly people or people who otherwise have problems with stairs. Hotel is tall and narrow, only a few floors on each room, and only way up is a narrow staircase.

I especially love the location. Very near the La Chapelle metro station. (If you come from Airport, go to Gare Du Nord, then walk inside the station towards La Chappelle station). The surrounding area have lots of places to eat (especially Indian, Turkish, or Halal) and many groceries shop. Some would feel the place a bit dodgy (as some review would say), but they'd only feel like that if they're not used to being in a very multi-cultural area, and that is exactly what the surrounding area is like. Just be careful of your stuff, just like you would protect it anywhere else. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I actually forgotten my passport at the reception area and they kept it for me the whole day until I returned to the hotel. You can leave your luggage there if you need it, which is a great bonus. Didn't try the food service though, but overall it was a great stay. Thank you!

Very reasonable price for great location and room and even better air conditioning! Record breaking heatwave and room stayed nice and cool. Superior room was much bigger than average. Did not see their smallest/cheapest room, but for a minor increase in cost the superior has plenty of room for two. Would be nice if they had more shelving/ closet area for clothes. Nice, safe feeling neighborhood and loved being walking distance to Sacré Coure/Montmartre. The staff were really helpful and very fluent in English. No problem with accepting prepaid third party reservation. Did not try breakfast because too many great breakfast places to try. Highly recommend.

The hotel is situated just down the street from the Moulin Rouge. There are many stores along the Boulevard de Clichy that sell sex toys and outfits. If that bothers you, it may not be the best location for you. We were fine with it. The location is convenient to everywhere in Paris, and you are in Montmartre! People were rushing along the streets to the metro to get to work, like any other neighborhood in Paris. Great cafes and bakeries in the neighborhood. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the cat motifs.

With only 19 rooms, this place kind of felt more like a home than a hotel! All of the decorations and fixtures are new and chic - we had an exposed brick wall, faux fireplace, mirrored night tables and a gorgeous black tiled shower. Yes, the room and bathroom are small, but my husband and I felt like it just added to the character. We were steps from the Moulin Rouge in one direction and from Montmartre in the other. Not to mention that the walk up Rue Lepic to the bustling artistic (yet admittedly touristy) Montmartre square includes adorable boutiques (both his and hers), patisseries, a frommagerie, fresh fruit, fresh fish, a gorgeous little chocolate store and plenty of watering hole-in-the-walls. We had a short stay and only wanted to focus on one neighborhood, and Hotel le Squara was a great location. The taxi stand across the street (in front of a Starbucks) also made it very easy to commute to dinner and then back to the airport.

After sending quite a few requests to get a room with a view, upon arrival I was informed of an upgrade. The staff were very helpful informing about what sites to look at, where to watch out for pickpockets. The location is magnificent, with a nice view from the square by the hotel, but an even better view from the hotel (beg them for a room with a view). In terms of breakfast I opted not to order breakfast at the hotel, but this was my sole choice based on experience (in general I like eating out when away, and nibbling something small). The coffee in the room was perfect to have with some croissants bought at the nearby bakery, and enough to get you to your first lunch stop. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and bars (they all look and serve pretty much the same, though I had two different experiences with waiters, with one being very helpful, and the other being worse than Manuel from Fawlty Towers on a very bad hangover). During my stay the hotel was going through some refurbishment, but the works were very discreet and I only knew of them due to the builders racing me to the elevator. In general I will always reccomend Timhotel Montmartre.

Boutique Hotel I like the location not sure why there as so many negative reviews as the location is multicultural and everyone is going about their business without any issues Checkin was smooth and there is a precise checkin time at 3pm which with a little flexibility would be nice Rooms are biggest I have found across other hotels within similar price range and location therefore you are getting value for money than sleeping in an 11sqm room The lounge area is pretty big and worked well for me as we spent the day working on a proposal, there is enough activity to feel you are not alone but not overwhelming Around 4pm the lounge transforms into a restaurant and is quite lively filled with wonderful colors of people Food smells delicious Witnessed a party and a wedding as well as the locals coming for drinks Security at the entrance is friendly and polite The room is a good size Shower and or bath International tv channels Coffee machine and coffee View was nice and all the rooms seem to have a decent view Would I stay again - yes A few little things could be tinkered to get a 7 star review Like this hotel Like the staff Hotel GM try’s his best to make every guest happy Cleaning staff are fabulous and fun to have a quick chat with I think like me you should try this hotel before judging it and I think you will be quite pleasantly surprised Every hotel has its quirks This one is a great find Enjoy Will be back soon

It is very near to the metro station which is good. There are many resto bars and shops around. It is good for back packers and people who will only spend a night or two. It is an old building, so don't expect it to be fully sound proof from the hallway. Another downside during our stay was that the noise in the top floor. It sounded like somebody was moving furnitures all night. We didn't bother to complain as it was just bearable. We slept through the night, despite. The best part was that the staffs were friendly and approachable.

Montmartre mon amour is a tribute to love made hotel, nothing more adequate in the City of Love. Incredibly well located, the magic of details all around the hotel will contact you with your romantic feelings and good emotions. Warning, you may fall in love with love due to the atmosphere of this fantastic place. A good idea, well developed and exquisitely managed. Chapeau. Merci pour votre gentille attention

I was expecting only the minimal comfort and service from my last trip to Paris years back but was pleasantly surprised that Citadines Montmartre positions so well for commuting around Paris via metro and public transport. Staff are forever friendly even when quite busy some days. Special thanks to Artur who is so helpful and warm assisting us with various queries and use of the laundry room facilities. Lamia is just gorgeous to talk to and patient with our airport transfer arrangement. Our apartment has a spacious balcony giving us a nice view of the Parisian city view and the rooftop garden view of Sacre Couer in the distance just makes it special for our stay especially after a long day of sightseeing and visits. This accommodation has definitely add to the enjoyment of our Paris trip. :)

My wife and I spent a night at Ibis Montmarte and found it provided us an excellent base from which to explore Montmarte. The hotel is situated about 200 metres from Place De Clichy metro stop so it was very easy to find if you are travelling independent of taxis. We arrived at 9am after an early flight into Paris and staff were happy to provide us with an early checkin. Likewise a late checkout the following day was no problem. The room was simple as we expected at this price point; a comfortable bed was what we were really after and we got that. The buffet breakfast at €10 was satisfying. Staff were helpful with pointers about the area and how to secure a Sim card for my phone. I have no problems in recommending the Ibis Montmarte hotel as comfortable budget option.

when browsing agoda, aurelius attracted me with positive reviews and decent prices for a 4-star hotel. upon arriving, this proved to be spot-on as i found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, decent sized and we were greeted warmly by the reception. my only point for improvement would be for the hotel to provide some written instructions for the in-room safe. there were none and i ended up locking the safe during my experimentations, requiring a visit from the receptionist to unlock it (who then provided the instructions verbally) the hotel is located close to the cornelia metro, which makes it very easy to get around as the station is on the same line as the stations near major attractions such as vatican city, piazza del popolo, spanish steps and the trevi fountain. do note that there is an extra city tax to be paid that is not included with your booking but the reception will inform you of this upon arrival. also note that there are 2 exits to the cornelia station and you will need to turn left upon the leaving the turnstile. otherwise, you end up in a really unfamiliar looking place. in any case, make mcdonalds your landmark as it is located at the corner on the road where aurelius is.

I loved that while we were in the heart of a very lively Montmartre our rooms were like s little haven. laveries ( laundrettes) were close by: One was across the road; and cafes and bars were nearby. We were only 50 metres from the Port de Clinqancourt railway station where you could get a direct connection to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est ( 4 & 5 short stops away respectively). We walked to the Sacre Couer & Moulin Rouge & that was quite a walk but we are middle- aged sisters so young people should do it easily.

I really enjoyed staying at Audran Hotel. Upon my arrival I was welcomed graciously by Ghani, who set the foundations for turned out to be a fabulous time in Paris and particularly in Montmartre. The rest of the staff also provided excellent service whenever I required assistance planning my day. I'd also like to thank Ahcene, Momo and Mourad for their assistance. The room I received was terrific, with excellent views across not only Montmartre but right into Paris too. The room was perfect for my requirements, but also clean and simply furnished. The breakfasts were a great option at 6 Euro per day also. I very much recommend Audran hotel and can see that the team are slowly developing the interior stairs. Thanks guys!

When I arrived the concierge Mokrane was sweet, helpful and very organised! The room was clean, airy and good size. The shower was surprisingly powerful with good clean towels. Sheets were great, soft and nice comfy pillows. Room w/bathroom all for £50 per day! Difficult to get cheaper particularly in that neck of the woods , 9th/18th arrondissement - Pigalle/Montmartre/Sacre Coeur - this rate is unbeatable and certainly well worth it! I would only warn everyone to remember that rooms on the street side will be noisier - singing/screaming/shouting/celebrating/music etc... on Friday/Saturday nights - so unless you are armed with earplugs/sleeping pills or whatever my suggestion is you make sure you get a room looking out on back area. The concierge at the desk Mokrane is simply adorable (as is other chap who works the late shift) he took a few messages for me, called my friend and a taxi all on his own phone!! I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone! !

A very basic hotel, limited facilities, but they had a nice cozy bar downstair, is a good place to chill. Friendly staff, No guess visit will be allowed. Beware of Paris Taxi G7, even the hotel help us to book, the taxi will charge additional 7 Euro as an advanced booking fees, although we had clarify with hotel there will be no hidden charge. Do not trust those who offer taxi service in airport, they will charge 5x more expensive to cheat tourist.
