"No swimming pool not bathtub no Bluetooth speaker. The so-called fancy big television just a tv but can’t screen mirroring. The room has the smoking smell. (Reception didn’t ask me if I prefer The smoking room or nonsmoking room). The hotel is ok but with this price I was expecting a better service. "

"I booked non smoking room, but when we got our room I felt the bed smell. I informed staff about this but they told that room is not smoking. I don't know is that smell from smoking or another thing but it terrible. I asked change the room but they gave me air refreshener. Was late and we went to bed but I was terrible night. Next day I asked again to change my room. They provided the new one but when I moved I saw that sanitary was not clean enought. It's not W or 5 star hotel standarts."

"Hlife Hotel is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in Guangzhou. Located at Kingold Century Plaza and just opposite Grand Hyatt hotel. Everything feels really new and clean. Great location at a nice area of new town, just few mins walking distance to Zhujiang New Town Station inside G.T. Land Plaza. Great service!! The people at Hlife are SUPER NICE! 1. When I checked into my room, the shower room frosted glass door was not tightly fixed in place and couldn't shut properly. Called the reception counter, in less than 2 mins, the technician came to fix it. 2. Big Thank You to Ethan (Hotel receptionist) , he helped us to arrange a delivery of a parcel to our agent in Dongguan. Even went down and deliver it himself. And also called a cab for us to the airport. Really appreciate it. 3. Every morning I walked out my room, everyone smiles at you and said "Good Morning". I'll definitely recommend this place to others, and will definitely come back when I'm in town."

"Beautiful hotel, right next to a ton of shopping. Great view of the Canton tower. We had a stunning corner room on the 23rd floor -- absolutely stunning. The toilet was fully electronic -- from motion-sensing automatic lid and sanitizer, to different angled sprays (you could change pressure and position), to a heated seat and a heated blow dry. I don't travel in Asia much so I don't know if this is common, but it blew our minds. The separate bath tub (complete with pillow, bath salts, and rubber ducky) was right but a floor-to-ceiling window looking out over the Pearl River. Oh, and the window shades and curtains are all button-controlled, as are all the lights, and even the "do not disturb" sign. Truly a brand-new, top-of-the-line hotel. Service was very kind. One thing I'll say is that the Sense restaurant a la carte menu was overpriced for the quality of the food we got. There is a TON of food in the mall food courts nearby -- try that instead. Cheaper and better."

"Only stayed one night, the room is kind of small for the same price you get much bigger at Four Season. However the breakfast at Hyatt is a lot better. Only one issue we found is that the floor lighting is so dark, hardly to find the room number, would suggest hotel to add background lighting for room number. "

"I stayed for three nights on the 95th floor and the views from my room of the Guangzhou skyline was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable although the air conditioning tends to run a little warm for my liking. Nevertheless, the hotel staff were pleasant and courteous whenever I interacted with them. Unfortunately, I weren't able to sample the dining options at the hotel but I was able to visit Tian Bar during my visit and the drinks accompanied with the views were worthwhile. "Generally, I enjoyed my stay. A big shout out to the privilege of 24h free flow drinks lounge. I stayed in Grand Mercure Shanghai, Mercure Hangzhou, Mercure Kota Kinabalu, Grand Mercure Bangkok, Grand Mercure Jakarta, Grand Mercure Singapore before, this is the only Grand Mercure which provide a 24h lounge with free flow drinks. To me, everything is above average, including the staffs, cleanliness, hotel room.... There are 2 things I 'm not so satisfy with , one is the breakfast and the location. Less options of breakfast, and the location is not convenient. I hardly find an eatery or convenient store around walking distance. "

"Overall, the place is good. Located conveniently about 10 minutes walk from Liede MRT station. The neighbourhood is new and clean, with tall skyscapers and huge pedestrian walkways. There is a mall nearby, and a few small eateries. The reception counter is at level 12, and the ground floor reception isn't always friendly to help, so you may need to have a China mobile line to contact the receptionist at level 12 to pick you up from the lobby. An access card is given to operate the lift in the building to your unit. The unit itself is huge, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The only complaint is water pressure is not good enough for my shower room. You may leave your luggage at level 12 reception after checkout and they're open 24 hours. Take note though that you would have returned your access card to the reception during checkout, so you may experience inconvenience getting help to access level 12 again to collect your luggage. People there generally have the "that is your own problem" attitude if it's not within their job scope."
