"The room size has been comprimised for style. The double room was more sized for a single person, not enough room for 2 suitcases, a bit tight for getting dressed and not quite enough shelves in the bathroom but apart from that a very well kept, modern and chic hotel, in a good place close to Champs Elysees and close to a great bistro on the corner for that refreshing beer and burger and people watching."

"There was one minor issue on arrival which required clarification from Agoda -other than that this was the best hotel in Paris we have stayed however I would recommend that you really know the person you share the lift with -it is rather small and cosy."

"Walking distance from the Champs Elysees, the hotel has a very typical Parisian feel. It is one of the best deal in this very upscale area. The nice staff is a definite plus. Simple, clean and comfortable do not go there if you are looking for a fancy hotel but go for it if you are interested in a homy vacations place. "

"It was great for a short stay. The taxi stand was right outside the hotel and there were many wonderful restaurants, seafood/steak places, down the street. There was a metro underground about 3 minutes away I think it was Neuilly and many bistros. The champs elysee was a stones throw away, so an early morning or late night walk was always a pleasure. The hotel boasts of one of the finest jazz bars, and the music is really good. The staff were very helpful. I found the rooms a bit small, but then I guess that's Europe. All in all its value for money and being in the Port mayot area - the periferique - exiting the city is easy when heading to the airport or even some of the sttractions like Fontainbleau or Rue Malmaison."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel which represented a very good value for money with attentive staff, chean and agreable room. The hotel is less than 100 meters from the subway and RER , ideal when you want to visit Paris. A supermarket and nice restaurants are also next door with a nice Garden front of the hotel as well. Internet was free and fast. Highly recommended "

"We booked this hotel mainly because of its proximity to the Arc de Triomphe which is a mere few yards from the hotel and in fact you can see it from our window. The décor is quirky but modern and amusing. The room had all the facilities you could want and the shower was particularly great. Staff friendly and helpful"

"I've been staying at this hotel when in Paris for about the past 10 years or so. The location is excellent, close to shops, good restaurants, public transport and the Marche Poncelet. It's in a quiet little square, so there is no traffic noise. Value for money, given Paris hotel prices, is excellent. As a long time regular client, the staff all recognize me and I tend to get a little spoiled which is nice. The star rating is actually given by the government not the hotel itself, if it was elsewhere I would call it a 3 star, it's simple, without pretention and you'd really have a difficult time finding a better deal in Paris when you take into account where it is and what the prices are like.
