This is definitely a hotel I would go back to. From the easy initial booking with Agoda to the helpfulness of taking care of the bags for a few hours after we checked out it was great. Our first weekend away from our children in 8 years and the Terrass ensured it was a special wekend. The closeness to Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge to a short taxi / bus or metro to the main attractions was an added bonues. The value for money was great, with a very large, clean and quality furnished double room.

Good location only 3mins to Chateau Rouge Metro. Secre Ceour is also only a few steps away. Our room is on top floor good view and not too noisy at night. The temperature was so hot upto 37°C during our stays it could have been better if the hotel provide a small fan. We didn't expect much of the room facilities but it could have been better if there is a fridge to keep cold drink and a hair dryer.

A very friendly staff. Very helpful. It was very important for us to leave our luggage before check in and check out and it wasn't a problem at all. The metro station was 5 minutes walk. They provided bus transport to two of Paris airports. Breakfast was great (no cold meat but I think it's a standard in hotels in Paris). The only two things on the down side: no lift (sometimes it can be really annoying) and the reception is closed from midnight till 6am (but I think you can use a ring to get in). I was very happy with this hotel. It's maybe not the cheapest but it's Paris! Everything is extremely expensive here!

Metro on the corner,but the street is not loud. Not the safest district but we didn't have problem with noone. The receptionist was kind,he spoke english great, They even gave us a better and bigger room,not the One we have reserved. After check out They let us to leave there our baggages,while we visited some other places. There's no elevator,it was a challenge to Go upstairs but great exercise for us, for elderly it might cause some problem. The personal don't bother you. Very near supermarket, the Sacre cour,metro,bars,everything you might need to stay in Paris. The room was so nice, smelled great,shampoo,soap,towels,cups in the room. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, only downstairs, but really if you are in Paris, Why would you want to use your Phone all day?! It's better to be With each other, we loved this too. It was way better than we expected,if we Will Go once again, definitely would stay here once again : )

A comfortable sized room at an affordable price. 24 hours check-in and walking distance to the Gare Du Nord if your catching the Eurostar as we did. Staff were friendly and helpful and fluent in French and English. Room was good sized with free wifi, TV and ensuite was small but had everything you need. The best part is that it is a short 3 minute walk to the underground/metro station which can get you to anywhere in Paris. Not in the most luxuorous part of town but would definately recommend.

I especially love the location. Very near the La Chapelle metro station. (If you come from Airport, go to Gare Du Nord, then walk inside the station towards La Chappelle station). The surrounding area have lots of places to eat (especially Indian, Turkish, or Halal) and many groceries shop. Some would feel the place a bit dodgy (as some review would say), but they'd only feel like that if they're not used to being in a very multi-cultural area, and that is exactly what the surrounding area is like. Just be careful of your stuff, just like you would protect it anywhere else. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I actually forgotten my passport at the reception area and they kept it for me the whole day until I returned to the hotel. You can leave your luggage there if you need it, which is a great bonus. Didn't try the food service though, but overall it was a great stay. Thank you!

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent location. We had a Superior Double which was on one of the upper floors. It was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable indeed. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of fresh bread, croissants, fruit, meats etc.. The hotel is is located near to a Metro station, has numerous bars and restaurants nearby and a couple of supermarkets just around the corner. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time, our room was satisfactory, although our tv wasn't working and didn't receive new batteries for the remote, but we didn't miss the tv, since we were in the most beautiful city in the world. It was great that there are 2 metro stations that you can reach by walking. (Anvers and B.R. which are on the same line) but Abbeses is also walking distance. (15-20 minute walk. thats the green line) All in all we enjoyes our stay at the comfort in, and we will be back in the summer I hope.

The hotel is situated just down the street from the Moulin Rouge. There are many stores along the Boulevard de Clichy that sell sex toys and outfits. If that bothers you, it may not be the best location for you. We were fine with it. The location is convenient to everywhere in Paris, and you are in Montmartre! People were rushing along the streets to the metro to get to work, like any other neighborhood in Paris. Great cafes and bakeries in the neighborhood. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the cat motifs.

the hotel is only 2 minutes walk to chetau-rouge metro station and also close to one of the biggest church in montmare area. Location wise, its perfect. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable even though its relatively small for size. The lift only fit 1 person and 1 luggage or else you have to take stairs. The surrounding is quite crowded because of the bars and pubs around that area. Overall its good but probably if you stay with young children you might want to choose another location.

The stay was very pleasant. The metro was on the same block. Plenty of resturaunts and bars nearby. Next door to the Moulin Rouge. The staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. Close to the rail station. The rooms were a bit tight but they were nicely decorated and they were very quaint. The size of the room made it more romantic for me and my wife. Rain showers. This was a great value overall. The staff even bought us souvenirs when we checked out.

great location near metro station, restaurants, and turist sites. water boiler for tea and coffee is an asset and you can buy bread across the street, as well as fruit and other goods. 14 euro breakfast is too expensive. buena ubicación cerca de la estación del metro, cerca de restaurantes y lugares turísiticos. hervidor de agua para cafe y té en la habitación es un beneficio, puedes comprar pan en la calle de enfrente, así como frutas y otros bienes. el desayuno de 14 euros es muy caro para lo que dan.

Very nice and clean hotel for four star hotel. Nice for people who like modern materials. Situated in a multicultural ambiance with lot of food markets, cheap shops and very lovely bakeries. Staff was always very helpful at any time. Station Gare du Nord is near ten minutes and Bus 48 near the hotel takes you directly to Louvre. The Restaurant is a bit expensif for eating every day but the creacion of the topchef was delicious. There is a special indian sweets shop nearby ganesha sweets. A paradise for glutenfree eating people. And several other shops with glutenfree or lactosefree food. The meal in the hotel was glutenfree but they didn't offer special bred in the morning. In the evening there was twice very loud music. That was very annoying but it stopped after a while.

It is very near to the metro station which is good. There are many resto bars and shops around. It is good for back packers and people who will only spend a night or two. It is an old building, so don't expect it to be fully sound proof from the hallway. Another downside during our stay was that the noise in the top floor. It sounded like somebody was moving furnitures all night. We didn't bother to complain as it was just bearable. We slept through the night, despite. The best part was that the staffs were friendly and approachable.

The staff were exceptional. I arrived exhausted after a long flight from Astralia. They hurried up the availability of my room, and I was able to have a nice hot shower and a shave and feel human again in no time at all. There are some great authentic French restaurants nearby, a short walk to the top of the hill, just behind the Sacre Coeur church. Breakfast in the hotel is better than in surrounding cafes. Street cafes in Paris have lost their shine, they are usually full of cigarette smelling men sipping coffees. If you want good food and coffee to start the day, the hotel breakfast bar is had to beat. The decor and hotel name is obviously aimed at couples seeking a romantic getaway. Ignore that, it's a great place to stay and the price is quite reasonable. I would happily stay here again. It's a little out of town but there are three metro stations nearby to get there quickly and cheaply.

Great location in quiet street but very close to restaurants, bars and nightlife. Superarkets nearby. Two metro stations and bus stations very close. Small hotel and small rooms but clean. Bathroom clean, towells clean. The walls are little bit tiny so we heard our neibours sometimes. Breakfast very good for Paris standard. Overal very good value for us (we paid 79€/night with breakfast).

The entrance is big, the Staff is very engaged to help you and to talk to you. Surely you can have all the help you need. The Ibis-Hotel is directly located to Moulin Rouge and Sacre Cour! The Metropolitan is near, there is a grocery store near the Hotel and several Bars and france restaurants or fancy cool stores which you not find somewhere else in Paris. Just look for the near traditional restaurante to have breakfast or fresh baked Baguette. A bit snooby the staff there but the food taste very good. Coquelicot or something like that was the name. I had two hotelrooms there, the first was a smokerroom (but there are no official smokerrooms) and after changing I just saw, both rooms got no view. Looking into the center of the circled hotel. But at least it was very quiet! Dont check in near the Elevators! I think the money was worth to be here, its not as clean as I would wish (the toilet is near the wall, but the wall will not be cleaned for the next centuries), but every thing else seems to be very clean. Enjoy france!

when browsing agoda, aurelius attracted me with positive reviews and decent prices for a 4-star hotel. upon arriving, this proved to be spot-on as i found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, decent sized and we were greeted warmly by the reception. my only point for improvement would be for the hotel to provide some written instructions for the in-room safe. there were none and i ended up locking the safe during my experimentations, requiring a visit from the receptionist to unlock it (who then provided the instructions verbally) the hotel is located close to the cornelia metro, which makes it very easy to get around as the station is on the same line as the stations near major attractions such as vatican city, piazza del popolo, spanish steps and the trevi fountain. do note that there is an extra city tax to be paid that is not included with your booking but the reception will inform you of this upon arrival. also note that there are 2 exits to the cornelia station and you will need to turn left upon the leaving the turnstile. otherwise, you end up in a really unfamiliar looking place. in any case, make mcdonalds your landmark as it is located at the corner on the road where aurelius is.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful -- we arrived early before check in time but was able to freshen up and stored our luggage, and she helped a lot with our request to help print documents & provide information on how to best get to the main tourist areas by public transport/some tips in visiting in general. Location is good -- just few steps away from the Porte de Clignancourt metro station! It might take you a while to get to the main landmarks, but this is definitely a big plus, especially for the value. Room is clean and more spacious than I've imagined!

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris and looking to get a great deal. Don't expect great wifi connections. Amazing bakeries with five second walks from the hotel for breakfast. Great restaurants and bars everywhere you look. The Montmartre neighbourhood is beautiful and so enjoyable to stay in. Literally the picture-perfect Parisian neighbourhood. 3 metro stations all very short walks away to get you anywhere you need in Central Paris quickly and easily.
