"We usually rent apartments while in Paris. When the last rental was not up to our expectations, we were literally on the street looking on Trip Advisor for a good hotel. We immediately booked this hotel online and could not have been more delighted. The location is truly the best, near Notre Dame, strolling the Seine, fantastic restaurants and so much more. Very safe area, Free wifi, safe, AC... Oh the shopping :-) some of the best little boutiques around! Henri and the rest of the lovely staff could not have been more helpful and entertaining. The restaurants Henri booked for us were excellent and just steps away from the hotel. Guests are treated like family and it's so refreshing to be surrounded by people who enjoy their job and making sure their guests are happy. The room was clean, non-smoking, the beds very comfortable and even being on the 2nd floor (US floor) it was quiet. This charming hotel from the 1500's offered all the creature comforts. I also like the fact that it did not smell old or dated. We did not have the breakfast because we choose to sleep in, we heard it was wonderful! Next time we will make an effort to get up earlier to enjoy it. We have never felt more welcomed like this in a hotel before - felt more like we were visiting friends. There was also a great vibe with the guests - everyone was friendly and we had dinner with 2 wonderful sisters with whom we exchanged emails and facebook. We will definitely be returning, Relais Hotel du Vieux Paris was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks trip in France! Room Tip: No matter what room you get, it will be nice to return to after spending the day enjoying everything..."

"The Citadine hotel is actually a serviced apartment with kitchen net. Even with a small kitchen portion, the bedroom area is spacious and clean compared with other hotels nearby. The location is just wonderful. You may walk to Notredame Church and a subway station within 10 minnutes. There are bunch of pretty restaurants around the hotel. Also, you may find a supermarket nearby. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The conciege desk helped me to make a restaurant kindly. Also, the hotel provides free wifi with good speed in rooms and lobby. Coin laundry machines are available on the basement. Although it is not a 5 star luxurious hotel, it was more than enough to provides comforts and rest. "

"My husband and I just arrived Paris from London on Jan 28,2017 , and we stayed at this hotel for one night and flying back home the next day. When we walked in this hotel, a Chinese lady in her 30s helped us checking in. (later confirmed with the other staff) Her name is Catherine. She is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. When I walked to front desk , Catherine said hi in a monotone and glared at me. Made me feel soooooo uncomfortable and unwelcome. She didn't say welcome, or even just a smile to show me what a normal human being would do. Nothing. Standing there waiting to see what I am going to say. I told her I have a booking at this hotel and handed over my passport etc. (Around 12:30-12:45 when we checked in) Catherine said check in time is 2pm, the guest who stayed in that room is already gone, but for cleaning will take around 1.5 hours. Silence, didn't offer what service they can provide to us? So I said well my husband and I are going to Disneyland right now. We are not going to wait for the room to be ready. Could we drop off our luggages here and when the room is ready you guys can send it to our room? She replied yes. Nothing more. Then my husband asked her where should we put our luggages + 2 keepall? The moment she ROLLED HER EYES and told us they are keeping it in their specific area and it's very safe. Blah blah blah, my husband and I looked at each other and we are so shocked, never had such bad experience before. We were just wondering where we should leave our luggages? We are not gonna leave it at the lobby and walk away without knowing who's gonna take care of it right? When we return to the hotel, only a Caucasian man was working at the front desk. So I asked him if I could have my hotel room key and our luggages. He looked at me and put both of his hands to the temple behind the eyes , acting like a psychic. And said "so you think I would know who you are without knowing your name? But let me guess, are you t"

"The stay was great. The staff was very, very, very helpful. The concierge was amazing and gave us good tips on how to get around and where to go. The location right on St. Germain as actually a very reasonable walking distance to Notre Dam, the Louve and other shops and stores. Lots of art galleries in that area. More importantly, the Metro station entrance is right there. The Concierge showed me how to navigate and it was really easy to get around Paris. The rooms weren't too small, but certainly weren't big. The price was expensive (as are all Paris hotels in the summer) and competitive with other 4 star hotels in that area. Great stay and I would stay there again without hesitation."
