Hotels near Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre

Our room had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. The staff were all very friendly and the rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot for a drink. The hotel is well appointed right in the mix of Montmarte with lovely cafes, bakeries and shops nearby. It's not too touristy until you get up near the Sacré Cœur where you will get charged an arm and leg for everything! Overall it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Stopped for a night out in Paris on the way home from the Dordogne. Hotel Montmartre is on a quiet street just 5 minutes walk (up some steps!) from Sacre Coeur. Could not have been better. Comfortable bed, crisp white linen and towels, very clean. Staff were very welcoming too. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from: we dined on the Place du Tertre where the artists gather. Hotel does not do breakfast but there are lots of cafes nearby for a croissant and coffee. Supermarket and baker on the street. Hotel reserved private parking (locked) 3 mins walk away; cost just 18 euro.

We very much enjoyed this simple little hotel. It is a five min walk from le sacre coeur and we loved walking around the neighbourhood. The no-frills room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast simple and delicious (coffee, croissants and fresh bread), and the staff was friendly. Would definitely go again. Two minor issues were that the internet kept falling away (prompting the need to log in again) and the shower was often just not warm enough. However, these issues did not override our enjoyment of the stay.

Metro on the corner,but the street is not loud. Not the safest district but we didn't have problem with noone. The receptionist was kind,he spoke english great, They even gave us a better and bigger room,not the One we have reserved. After check out They let us to leave there our baggages,while we visited some other places. There's no elevator,it was a challenge to Go upstairs but great exercise for us, for elderly it might cause some problem. The personal don't bother you. Very near supermarket, the Sacre cour,metro,bars,everything you might need to stay in Paris. The room was so nice, smelled great,shampoo,soap,towels,cups in the room. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, only downstairs, but really if you are in Paris, Why would you want to use your Phone all day?! It's better to be With each other, we loved this too. It was way better than we expected,if we Will Go once again, definitely would stay here once again : )

Very nice ladies at the reception, who let us drop our luggage until we could check in in the afternoon, as we arrived at 8am out of an international flight. Our 3 person room, one double and one single bed, was not very big, but very clean and comfy for one night. A kettle in the room would have been nice though. Very convenient for catching a train from Gare du Nord, just 11 euros by taxi, or walking distance if not too many luggage. About 20 minutes walk to the Sacre Coeur. The hotel is near the African part of Paris, with many immigrant workers, and in the evening, there were many groups of men chatting or congregating in the street, with virtually no woman in sight. Everybody was peaceful and good natured, but lone female travellers might possibly feel a bit ill at ease with mostly men hanging around in the streets. Wifi was good and free. All in all a good and reasonably priced hotel.

I especially love the location. Very near the La Chapelle metro station. (If you come from Airport, go to Gare Du Nord, then walk inside the station towards La Chappelle station). The surrounding area have lots of places to eat (especially Indian, Turkish, or Halal) and many groceries shop. Some would feel the place a bit dodgy (as some review would say), but they'd only feel like that if they're not used to being in a very multi-cultural area, and that is exactly what the surrounding area is like. Just be careful of your stuff, just like you would protect it anywhere else. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I actually forgotten my passport at the reception area and they kept it for me the whole day until I returned to the hotel. You can leave your luggage there if you need it, which is a great bonus. Didn't try the food service though, but overall it was a great stay. Thank you!

Very reasonable price for great location and room and even better air conditioning! Record breaking heatwave and room stayed nice and cool. Superior room was much bigger than average. Did not see their smallest/cheapest room, but for a minor increase in cost the superior has plenty of room for two. Would be nice if they had more shelving/ closet area for clothes. Nice, safe feeling neighborhood and loved being walking distance to Sacré Coure/Montmartre. The staff were really helpful and very fluent in English. No problem with accepting prepaid third party reservation. Did not try breakfast because too many great breakfast places to try. Highly recommend.

This hotel is in a great position within easy walking distance to all the landmarks of Montmatre including Sacre Coeur, as well as being near to the Metro. It is also only a short taxi ride from Gare du Nord where the Channel Tunnel train arrives. The rooms were very spacious for a Parisian hotel with well equipped ensuite bathrooms. The most amazing feature was free wifi throughout the hotel - a most unexpected bonus for us.

With only 19 rooms, this place kind of felt more like a home than a hotel! All of the decorations and fixtures are new and chic - we had an exposed brick wall, faux fireplace, mirrored night tables and a gorgeous black tiled shower. Yes, the room and bathroom are small, but my husband and I felt like it just added to the character. We were steps from the Moulin Rouge in one direction and from Montmartre in the other. Not to mention that the walk up Rue Lepic to the bustling artistic (yet admittedly touristy) Montmartre square includes adorable boutiques (both his and hers), patisseries, a frommagerie, fresh fruit, fresh fish, a gorgeous little chocolate store and plenty of watering hole-in-the-walls. We had a short stay and only wanted to focus on one neighborhood, and Hotel le Squara was a great location. The taxi stand across the street (in front of a Starbucks) also made it very easy to commute to dinner and then back to the airport.

Lovely base for our visit to Paris. The hotel is situate in a quiet square with good restaurants and cafes close by. Beautiful Sacre Coeur is a 5 minute walk up the hill and the Metro 5 minutes down the hill. Our family consisted of 6 adults so we had 3 rooms on the 4th floor- 2 of the rooms were great, spacious with big beds and excellent views, unfortunately ours was the smallest of the 3 with the smallest bed but still very clean and functional. I put that down to the luck of the draw - you win some you lose some, it wouldn't stop me using this hotel again. One point to make is that this hotel would not suit those who have restricted movement, bad knees or don't like walking as you do have to go up or down hills whatever you decide to do. It's a great base for getting out and about Paris, we used the Metro lots without any trouble at all. All in all it was a lovely holiday celebrating a special birthday, which I would repeat in a flash.

Very nice and clean hotel for four star hotel. Nice for people who like modern materials. Situated in a multicultural ambiance with lot of food markets, cheap shops and very lovely bakeries. Staff was always very helpful at any time. Station Gare du Nord is near ten minutes and Bus 48 near the hotel takes you directly to Louvre. The Restaurant is a bit expensif for eating every day but the creacion of the topchef was delicious. There is a special indian sweets shop nearby ganesha sweets. A paradise for glutenfree eating people. And several other shops with glutenfree or lactosefree food. The meal in the hotel was glutenfree but they didn't offer special bred in the morning. In the evening there was twice very loud music. That was very annoying but it stopped after a while.

It is very near to the metro station which is good. There are many resto bars and shops around. It is good for back packers and people who will only spend a night or two. It is an old building, so don't expect it to be fully sound proof from the hallway. Another downside during our stay was that the noise in the top floor. It sounded like somebody was moving furnitures all night. We didn't bother to complain as it was just bearable. We slept through the night, despite. The best part was that the staffs were friendly and approachable.

The staff were exceptional. I arrived exhausted after a long flight from Astralia. They hurried up the availability of my room, and I was able to have a nice hot shower and a shave and feel human again in no time at all. There are some great authentic French restaurants nearby, a short walk to the top of the hill, just behind the Sacre Coeur church. Breakfast in the hotel is better than in surrounding cafes. Street cafes in Paris have lost their shine, they are usually full of cigarette smelling men sipping coffees. If you want good food and coffee to start the day, the hotel breakfast bar is had to beat. The decor and hotel name is obviously aimed at couples seeking a romantic getaway. Ignore that, it's a great place to stay and the price is quite reasonable. I would happily stay here again. It's a little out of town but there are three metro stations nearby to get there quickly and cheaply.

We may have been lucky, but the day we arrived there were street parties in Monmartre. All types of bands playing in the streets and it was great until late at night. And no cops enforcing DIP (drunk in public) laws like in the US. The location is near the cemetery and walking distance to Sacre Coeur and the street artist square. We also walked to Notre Dame but it is a long walk. Hotel is kind of minimal but does have a kitchen and an excellent staff who speak English. Good value if you are interested in being in a great location.

Great location in quiet street but very close to restaurants, bars and nightlife. Superarkets nearby. Two metro stations and bus stations very close. Small hotel and small rooms but clean. Bathroom clean, towells clean. The walls are little bit tiny so we heard our neibours sometimes. Breakfast very good for Paris standard. Overal very good value for us (we paid 79€/night with breakfast).

My wife and I spent a night at Ibis Montmarte and found it provided us an excellent base from which to explore Montmarte. The hotel is situated about 200 metres from Place De Clichy metro stop so it was very easy to find if you are travelling independent of taxis. We arrived at 9am after an early flight into Paris and staff were happy to provide us with an early checkin. Likewise a late checkout the following day was no problem. The room was simple as we expected at this price point; a comfortable bed was what we were really after and we got that. The buffet breakfast at €10 was satisfying. Staff were helpful with pointers about the area and how to secure a Sim card for my phone. I have no problems in recommending the Ibis Montmarte hotel as comfortable budget option.

The staff were very professional very helpful. They were always willing to give us all the information we need. The place was close to all the facilities ( the metro, buses, restaurants, supermarket, chemists, and 15 min. walk to the SACRE - COEUR BASILICA. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. once again we thank you all for your hospitality and good advice. What a beautiful country Paris is. It was unforgettable pilgrimage and holiday we enjoyed all the scenery in Paris ( thanks to AUTOBUS PARIS, and to RIVER SEINE HOP_ON HOP_OFF TOUR)

Stay was wonderful. We were there for the fete de music on June 21 and that was something else! We could see a band out our window. When we walked out, 2! It WAS clean, and in a great spot for getting to Metro. Sacre Coeur was a short walk up the hill and offers great views of the whole city. We would stay there again, as other rooms I looked at were twice the price and we are on a budget. 6 euro breakfast was plenty: breads, butter, cheese, jam, coffee, tea, juice. I am thankful for great reviews, for it made me feel okay about staying there and they were spot on. Downside: poor drains in shower and sink, thin walls, teensy place. Similar things were written in other reviews. If you want to be able to afford Paris, this is a fine place to be.

Barely five minutes from the Anvers Metropolitan Station and only about a 10-minute walk to the Sacre Coeur, this is a prefect hotel for those who want to live right in the middle of the city. From my room (Room 31) I could see the tip of the Eiffel Tower, which was a wonderful sight every morning. The hotel itself is pretty basic but satisfactory. And it is clean. The toilets were always very clean and dry and for this, I was appreciative. The only problem I had was connecting to the wifi after leaving the hotel for the day. And the guy at the counter didn't believe me at first but he issued me another wifi ticket. When it happened again the third day, I just didn't bother. Perhaps they could look into that but othwerwise, I'd definitely recommend this place.

This hotel is perfect to overnight in the heart of Paris. Hotel was 30 m from Pigalle MTR station, and some bus stations to the major attractions. Hotel did not have elevator, but the free WIFI in the room was a good compansation for it. :) The owner was really friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom clean, but do not expect anything special. Room was for me a bit like children room like with the red curtains and red table lamp in the room, but for me perfect if you consider that the hotel is located in the heart of Montmartre. ;-) We have been there in January, and was really happy about, that it was warm all the night in the room, heating system was running all the time. I suggest to everyone to make a romantic walk in Montmartre and Sacré-Coeur in the evening, and have a dinner in one of the bistros or restaurants there... If you want to visit Moulin Rouge, it is also just few minutes by walk from the hotel. All together Luxelthe is a good choise for low budget tourists.

A very basic hotel, limited facilities, but they had a nice cozy bar downstair, is a good place to chill. Friendly staff, No guess visit will be allowed. Beware of Paris Taxi G7, even the hotel help us to book, the taxi will charge additional 7 Euro as an advanced booking fees, although we had clarify with hotel there will be no hidden charge. Do not trust those who offer taxi service in airport, they will charge 5x more expensive to cheat tourist.
