Hotels near American School of Dubai

I stayed here with my wife and 6 yo. daughter for the New Years for 10 nights. It was beautiful and luxurious. All the regular rooms are Junior Suites with large bathroom. Good for the long stay because you don't feel claustrophobic and plenty of room to move around and place all your luggages and all the shopping. I didn't use much of the facilities, the pool was rather small, but the direct access to the mall is probably the best facility ever. The huge mall opens till midnight and you'll never run out of things to eat or do. Ski Dubai is here as well. The staff were all friendly and attentive to all your needs. The room service selection were a bit limited, but again, you have the huge mall to choose what you want to eat. The location of the hotel is also pretty good because it's close proximity to Dubai's other places and not within the constant traffic of Downtown Dubai.

My stay was comfortable and better than I expected. Nice small hotel but very good value for money. Nice clean rooms and comfortable bed. Fast internet. Very friendly staff and very efficient. Food fair but breakfast has very few choices. Easy access to rest of Dubai and good shopping in the Al Barsha area. Very near the Mall of Emirates- walking distance. This a great advantage. The bathrooms are very small.

i used the pullman hotel-mall of the emirates during my transit through dubai for a night. i was very impressed with the hotel. truly 5-star deluxe property. agoda is full of dubai 5-stars which turn out to be 4-star properties. this hotel is wonderfully located. the main lobby on the ground level is not really very impressive as compared to the lobby & reception on level 5. the staff was polite, competent, efficient and willing to help with a smile. the room was wonderful with one of the best views of dubai. the bathroom was contemporary with modern fittings and excellent shower pressure/temperature. the room service was a bit tardy. such a hotel must have ice-vending machines on every floor. surprisingly most dubai 5-stars don't have this amenity. the hotel location is the ultimate-winner. it is connected very conveniently right into the heart of the mall of the emirates! the checkout was efficient and i enjoyed my stay. will definitely return.

All the staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean. They allowed us to check out later on last day for free since our flight was in the evening. Overall a great stay except that the location is a bit fall from central areas and had to cab to most places like Marina, Dubai mall and Bur Dubai etc. Although metro is at mall of Emirates (which is still a few mins walk inside the shopping mall) distance is still far and have to walk further once you arrive at the destination. But, I guess if you want something far from the buzz of the city, this is a great hotel.

centrally located to most of the sights to see in dubai- 5mins walk to Mall of the emirates, 10 min cab ride to Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah, 15 mins going to downtown and Dubai mall/burj Khalifa, 40 mins from the airport although it is 40 kms away,Im very impressed with the filipino hospitality of the staff, very big rooms, cold airconditioning.. wasnt able to try their gym and pool though coz we had not much time left.. we stayed 5 nyts at 110 usd a nyt thru Agoda although their published rate there is 300 usd a nyt

It is conveniently located 4-5 stations apart from the two major landmarks of Dubai, the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, respectively, Dubai marina. It is 10 min walk or 1 Metro station away from Mall of the Emirates. Best, the Metro station, Sharaf DG, is just across the street from hotel. I think it is the best location in order to sample, equally, from everything Dubai has to offer. Hotel provides Beach and Mall free shuttle. Didn't use it as our own daily schedule didn't match that of the shuttles, plus, we enjoyed riding the subway as is faster, more efficient than any surface transportation . Rooms, perfect size, amenities, excellent bed, A/C. Breakfast just above average but good, it does the job (quite poor coffee though). Try their Turkish restaurant, Kappadokia, fantastic! In terms of Indian/Pakistani cuisine they have Bombay Cafe but then you have a wealth of choices around hotel (ex. Spinzer). What truly shines is their staff, all nice, helpful, efficient, smiling. Will return!

Hotels are good. nice interior. quiet and serene. it is lose to many things to do outside. was very quiet when i was there, bcz of the Ramada. but was no problem for me.. the hotel are cheap to. and am sure i will book there again if i be back Dubai, hotel have 4 stars, and you cam see, feel that to. this is a great hotel and cheap, and the Hotelis well situated locally to many things going on outside.

i absolutely loved this hotel. staff performance is excellent as they are very cooperative and got b'ful smile on the face talking to customers. i specially liked this hotel for 2 more reasons: 1. it is very close to the shoppers paradise of dubai, viz, mall of the emirates.(just 1 mile away which is walkable) 2. there is a metro rail station in the mall of the emirates which makes it easy to commute to any part of dubai. this hotel also has a night club and also a good restaurant which are really good, although the drink prices are high. overall, a good hotel to stay and i recommend to give a shot to this hotel without a second thought.

We had a great stay at Donatello. It felt being back home each night. The apartment was clean, well furnished and luxurious. Washing machines, stove, heater, toaster, everything was provided and was well functioning. Room service was quick and efficient. Other facilities like business centre, swimming pool was well maintained. Would separately appreciate the location of this hotel. ITs walking distance from the mall of the emirates, and right in the centre of Dubai. Since the taxi rates are quite high, the location of the hotel cut the costs a lot. The view of Burj Al Arab from the poolside is amazing. Staff is friendly and ready to help. The only problem was the lunch/dinner menu. There were no vegetarian dishes. Being, a vegetarian it was a problem for me. But since we could cook in the room, it was fine. On the whole...our stay was full of comfort. No hassles throughout. Had a peaceful and a great trip. Would surely prefer Donatello next visit too!

I would recommend this hotel. Pros It has the advantages of being a new hotel. / It's a good price for the facilities. The pool is a good size on the roof / there was always a sunbed available. The rooms are also a good size, quite spacious, high ceilings and great colour combination. Most of the staff there were very nice and helpful. If you call housekeeping or need something in your room, they will be there always within 5 minutes. Cons You have to pay an additional fee in taxes when you arrive no matter if you were told the final price and paid online. I was not told by Agoda that there was an additional fee due on arrival. Plus they charge 150aed for early check-in, Dubai airport is 24hrs so I really think they should not charge for early check-in. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Mall of the Emirates and the Metro.

Very good stay and we would absolute recommend this to everybody. The hotel was as good as in the guest recommendation and I think even better. Very nice and clean hotel, the bed was gigantic and the bathroom was comfortable. We had our own car so the valet service was great and the took no charge for it, so you could tip whatever you felt like. It took us 3 min to drive to mall of the emirates which is one of the largest malls in Dubai. And 10 min to the public beach, it tok approximately 15 min to get to JBR which wasn't so bad. I would recommend this to any of my friends who are going to Dubai, and don't need to stay on a beach resort.

After googling online for 3 hours to find suitable accommodation for our final 2 nights in Dubai, I chance upon Auris Plaza. Being our final 2 nights, I wanted to stay preferably in a luxury hotel/apartment but something that is not too pricey as we either need 2 rooms or a 2 b/rm apartment. After short listing 2 places, I'm so glad to have chosen Auris. I was pleasantly surprise to find a beautiful boutique hotel - not too big & not too small with nicely dressed concierges. Reminds me of the Ritz Carlton experience. Check in was fast & our 2 b/rm suite was large & beautiful. It looks like a new hotel as everything was just perfect & live up to a grand 5 star hotel (we had just checked out of a 5 star apartment which really should have been classed as a 3.5 or 4 star at best). High quality furnishings & the most comfortable bed. Service was also very good & prompt. Breakfast was very good - not a big selection but enough & staff were attentive. The best thing is it's literally right next to mall of emerits & is located conveniently between Dubai mall & the marina area so to travel to these areas doesn't cost much. There's not much of a view but it's quiet so noise is not an issue for sleeping. I'm very glad I found this hotel to end our holiday with. We had stayed in 2, 5 star hotels prior & realized there's old 5 star & there's 5 STAR. The price is reasonable compared to all the other 4 or 5 star places & it was definitely value for money. I don't normally bother to write reviews but this is definitely worth writing about.

The hotel is very comfortable, very quiet and very clean. Its location is very close to Mall of the Emirates. Dubai Mall and the marina around it All services are available The experience of the hotel was very wonderful and suitable for families Very excellent staff and great reception Fast service. I would like to thank and respect the employee (Jeanette )and (the employee( Remedle was at the top of respect, welcome and service.

Cleanliness was good. Unfortunately, Everytime they clean the room, they did not replace the towels.....but they clean the apartment well....thank you very much. We have to call to get fresh towels. TV in all bedrooms did not work at all till the day we depart. The only TV that worked was in the sitting room. Telephone lines in some bedrooms did not work. Reception staff was super great ....Albert, Joyce, Roshan, Ahmed, Said & Nas...thank you very much. Our stay was comfortable.

This is my second time staying at the Citymax Al Barsha. I do recommend it For those who is interested in shopping as it is located next to one of the biggest malls in UAE the Mall of Emirates which is about 2 minutes walking distance. Also, the metro (train) is about 900m from the hotel. The mall of Dubai and Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building) can be easily accessed by using the metro.

This place is ideal if you are looking for somewhere to stay that is close enough to the attractions, but don't require the glamour of the 5+ star hotels Dubai is known for. Very clean, simple hotel style room, about 5 minute walk from Mall of the Emirates centre + Metro station, and 5 minute taxi from the 7 star Burj Al Arab/Wild Wadi/Palm area. You can just catch a metro up to Dubai Mall very cheaply which is the other main 'hot spot' of Dubai worth checking out.

Since you enter on the hall you'll understand that will be amazing your staying in this hotel. We were two friends 24y old from Italy and we arrive late in the night. The staff was ready to welcome us since we arrive with the taxi. The hotel has many facilities (for free you can use the pool on the roof that is excellent, the spa) there is also a little souvenir shop, a night club, a bar (english style) a guy that will help you with the atractions of dubai (we bought the atlantis ticket trough him and we save money and time not doing the line at the entrance of the waterpark). The hotel is located close to the emirates mall and on the way there are many supermarket if you need to buy some snaks. You can catch the taxy from outside the hotel door or from the main street (100/200 meters far), just pay attantion to the difference between the taxy and the private driver (that cost double and usually have lexus or other "luxury cars"). Excelent staying, see you next time ;)

It's valued of money,good location near metro Mall of emirates stn.and Sharaf DG stn.,but I think should get off at Mall of emirates stn. because you can walk pass the department store,the breakfast is good quality,you can select about arab style or american style,the room is clean and standard,the manager is good management,all staff are nice and friendly,the bar is on the 1 floor so you can select the upper room if you want the quiet.I will stay here again next time.

the plan was on to celebrate our last day of 2011 in dubai. we were a group of 10 people travelling from abu dhabi and we were looking for a place closest to the palm and found ibis hotel as one of our options. personally, i wasnt too keen on it since the rates were very very cheap. i've had some bad experiences with hotels that sold at very low prices. since we dint want to split and stay at different hotels and it was the closest to the palm we decided to book at the ibis al barsha. so here's my review of the hotel... the receptionist was very friendly, co-operative and organized in handling our bookings. we were not able to get rooms close to each other but worked out to accomodate us on the same floor which was nice. the rooms were decent sized and clean, the toilets were small but that would not be a problem if it was a short stay.it was comfortable and suprisingly quiet & peaceful since the hotel is next to the higyway and the metro. the food we ordered was good. they have a 24 hour food service. ibis al barsha in general is suprisingly a really well maintained hotel, perfect for a short stay and is a great deal. this hotel was not what i expected it to be. i would definitely recommend this.
