BED BUGS!!!”
Hello! I just recently checked out and realized I have been eaten alive by bugs! Upon reviewing my bites they are all in a row of three which based on my internet findings points to bed bugs. I just messaged my friend who was travelling with us & she is also covered in the same bites!!! Absolutely would NOT recommend. I am uncomfortable with all my bites & now have to deep clean all of my things to make sure they didn’t come home with me.

The place is very dirty. Blanket have bloodstained. Restroom door wont lock. The floor and wall are very old and nasty. No elevator.

Our stay at Hotel Tolbiac exceeding expectations. We wanted a budget stay, conveniently located for our long weekend in Paris. The neighbourhood offered a large shopping center at Place d'Italie, several Asian restaurants and local brasseries.

A short stay in Paris and this hotel suits my requirements. No elevator though so if staying on the high floors will be a good exercise. Location is very good as it is near to three metros.

I was a lone traveller - so I did not care much about hotel comodities, but the hotel does not have an elevator, no acs in room, no one to show your room or carry your luggage. The room was pretty small. Paris is a costly city - and I suppose the room-rent I paid was not enough to cover those facilities. And that too, I landed in it in a tourist season when rooms are in high demand. The hotel staff was good and friendly. The rooms and common baths/toilets are clean. Overall, I had no grudge.

Good value for money, in a hotel located just 2 minutes walk from the metro. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel is very basic, but is worth the money for central Paris. No complaints, I would recommend it for someone wishing to do (or work) in Paris in the cheap.

Good Location Hotel with bugs !”
Good location. It is very convenient to walk to metro. A lots of restaurant around the hotel. Staff is very helpful and supportive. Overall is ok ...... BUT I was bitten by bed bugs in the hotel !! I am suffer form bed bug scars on my face. It almost a month ago. I still meet doctor in my country to get rid of bed bug bite scars and marks. I travel to Paris last month 14-18 March. Lost vacation time to find out the clinic that open on Sunday and go to buy medicine at Pharmacy. It was a nightmare ! It is a waste of time and money (if you don't have insurance).

Totally fine for the price”
Very serviceable. Close to two metro stops and a few nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Noise from the street and nearby rooms was disruptive, but that's why earplugs were invented :) For the price and location, I would stay here again.

Almost got cheated!”
When I checked into the hotel Tolbiac, the receptionist man said I have to pay 37.5euros cash for city tax. I said when I booked the hotel through Agoda, it didn’t say so. When I was checking through my backpack for the Agoda confirmation paper, he said it’s actually 6 euros now. As I was tired from long flight, I didn’t bother and pay for it. Now I wonder if my 6euros actually went into the city or his pocket because I didn’t get any receipts from him. The location of the hotel is great though and facilities are okay. No elevator and get ready to climb stairs.

This is a reasonable hotel with a cheap price. Advantages: 1. Cheap price. 2. Good location. Disadvantages: 3. There is no elevator. 4. Internet connection is slow. 5. The rooms are facing to a busy street. If you open the window, the street is very noisy.

Not that close to all the main attractions but it is close to lots of south east asian restaurants. As I absolutely love Vietnamese and Thai food, I found this great. The rooms were a bit dusty but still liveable. Can't expect too much as a budget-traveller in a big city such as Paris.
