Perfect location right in the centre, free water and coffee which is a nice touch. Clean rooms with a lovely view, comfy bed, great shower, I would take earplugs with you, as it is noisy at night due to the location.

Happy - Yes!”
We were really happy that the team at Hotel Silky were so...happy! I've stayed in dozens of hotels over the last few years and the team here were the best in terms of welcoming us and being proactive in providing us with information about our stay and the local attractions. Every time we passed through the lobby we were acknowledged by name too. Couldn't have asked for better and will definitely stay here again if I am back in Lyon.

Location, Lift”
Best location while in Lyon. It’s walking distance to Lyon’s attractions, shops, transportation, restaurants. Bottled water, coffee/tea, happy hour goodies is complimentary. The room, and toilet (love the tiles) is big with french rustic interiors, french window. Basic amenities available - towels, slippers, robe, shampoo, conditioners , bath soap, lotion, showercap, cotton & buds (no toothbrush though (i have to take note the next time I travel to Europe to bring toothbrush and toothpaste since all the hotels we stayed in Paris did not include this). The reception staff is helpful and accomodating. Umbrellas are available to borrow. Breakfast is good (love the yogurt, and freshly squeezed orange juice). Best of all, it has a lift (small but useful especially if you’re carrying big luggages, and qccompanied by a senior citizen). The only thing that’s amissed is the missing coffee on our third day,.

Perfect Location in Old Town”
We were a group of five women in Lyon for only two nights. We had a family room for 3 and a twin room for 2 and it worked out great. Breakfast was not included in our rate (12 euros extra) but there was an espresso machine in the lobby for coffee and there were pastries available in the afternoon. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Clara at the front desk. Even though my paperwork said all fees and taxes were included, we had to pay a city tax of 2.5 euros per person per night. All in all a very enjoyable stay in well located "boutique" hotel. There is 24hr parking in an "elevator lot" just down the street, but be aware it does not open until 7am. Also, if you are going to the airport, you have to park in short term parking in order to drop off passengers-we got confused over this.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Lyon”
We stayed 3 nights. We were surprised by the spacious room and also a bathroom. The hotel is situated in a safe district and close to Metro and Bus. Monoprix nearby. Walking distance to the Old Town (Vieux Lyon). Reception staff was very helpful. We were very satisfied and would definitely come back again.

A Gem in the Heart of Lyon”
We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Silky. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely helpful and we very much appreciated the "Happy Hour" concept of free wine and nibbles in reception each evening. Highly recommended!

When I checked in Sebastian welcomed me very friendly. He is a great guy. The rooms are spacious enough and nice. The breakfast is great . It is right in the city of Lyon.

Central and lovely location”
Surrounded by nice shops and restaurants, near the train, this hotel is excellent for business or travel. The breakfast is simple but pleasant, the rooms are quite basic but charming. I would stay here again.

Perfect location”
Right by all the restaurants..ATM 30m walk...2 bars for al fresco drinks and dining beneath and a great ice cream shop next door. 2 mins to station and old town a pleasant stroll. A must stay at reasonable price and do not miss drinks and nibbles in reception at 6pm!

Average Hotel”
The website advertised car parking however on arrival we were told we had to park in a multi story car park about 100 meters away at a cost of €21 per day. The room was very large & had a double spa in the bathroom unfortunately was not working. There is no air conditioning in the room. We have stayed in a lot better hotels for less money. The bonus was it was in the centre of Lyon so could walk to many good restaurants.

Stopover on the way to Spain”
The location and hotel is very good. Unfortunately they say there is a Parking which is not true. The parking near by is almost the price of the hotel and for hotel guests another 5€ as commision for the hotel. This parking is not self parking. I do not like to give my car key to somebody. I saw later a self parking much cheaper just around the corner.

This hotel was going under major renovation end of DEC 2016. We have already gotten a renovated room, small but clean and new. Very central location in Lyon. Easy access to bars and restaurants. Overall quite okay.

We had a 2 nights stay here. Great location, near to metro. It is provide light snack from 6pm to 8pm and there is free WIFI egg from rental. Hope I can be back to stay at this lovely hotel.
