Very charming hotel”
Everything in the hotel is small (elevator, checkin counter, breakfast area, room) but because of that it gives a very charming atmosphere. It’s luxery, beautiful and located around the corner of the Moulin Rouge. Perfect place to stay!

Very good”
The room was quite small but that seems to be very typical for Paris. We liked this area, close to Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge. We got this room as a last minute deal (unexpected extra night stay) so it was a good value for the money.

Misleading”
The pictures don't show how small everything is. Housekeeping brilliant. Reception amateur. But honestly, who calls 303 a double room?

Cozy chic.”
With only 19 rooms, this place kind of felt more like a home than a hotel! All of the decorations and fixtures are new and chic - we had an exposed brick wall, faux fireplace, mirrored night tables and a gorgeous black tiled shower. Yes, the room and bathroom are small, but my husband and I felt like it just added to the character. We were steps from the Moulin Rouge in one direction and from Montmartre in the other. Not to mention that the walk up Rue Lepic to the bustling artistic (yet admittedly touristy) Montmartre square includes adorable boutiques (both his and hers), patisseries, a frommagerie, fresh fruit, fresh fish, a gorgeous little chocolate store and plenty of watering hole-in-the-walls. We had a short stay and only wanted to focus on one neighborhood, and Hotel le Squara was a great location. The taxi stand across the street (in front of a Starbucks) also made it very easy to commute to dinner and then back to the airport.

Lovely design, great host, top location”
it felt like a save little heaven, entering this tiny and very personal hotel. run by a very kind and attentive family, we were positively surprised about the interior design. the shower is great and quite big (taking in consideration the small sizes in paris). we had no f&b, therefore had to rely on their recommendations for restaurants and were absolutely satisfied with it. we can recommend that property and would love to come back there soon.

meh. ”
Pros: The location is great, the area is live at night with a lot of things to do. It’s right next to the train station which was so convenient. Many great restaurants and places to grab food. The bed was very comfortable and i really appreciated the extra pillows! The hotel staff at the front desk are very nice and helpful. Cons: A couple of annoying things that if i know about beforehand i would have avoided booking this hotel. In the morning i couldn’t sleep because there was such loud construction. Also, our sink was clogged, no big deal because we only stayed here 2 nights. Also, before coming here i read a review about someone suspicious of a maid taking money. This worried me so i made sure to have it with me at all times just in case. In the fact of that. I’m pretty sure the maid took my cigarettes? weird but i didn’t really care. She also walked in on me in the room without even knocking on the door which i did not like at all.

Simple hotel near the moulin rouge and close to transport, thought standard would be higher”
The hotel has its charm, but is a lot simpler than I thought, given the 4 star rating and the price. The lobby and elevator was really small and felt a bit crampy. The breakfast room as well, it was a tiny room with only a few tables. We ate elsewhere. Coffe and hot chocolate available all day to all guests was a plus. Room is also small. Construction work right outside our window. It's nice with air condition. Toilet not so clean, very small. I found several hair strands and something that looked like pubic hair in the bed sheets. Not mine. Blood stain on my mothers newly changed pillowcase. Otherwise, the interior of the room was nice with the red curtains. We liked the design. It's right next to the Moulin Rouge (but in a side street with several souvenir shops) which we liked since we were going to see a show there. It's not too far to the sacre coeur, we walked there. The staff was very laidback, but nice and tried to help us. It was a nice stay, but standard should be better.

Very cosy place to stay”
This hotel is very small but bursting with character. Room is also quite tiny but well equipped and has everything you need. The highlight would have to be the friendly staff who are generally willing to help out in anyway they can. The location of the hotel is a little bit rowdy and so can be a little noisy at night but it is very close to the train station which is convenient. Overall this place is great value.

Absolutely Fabulous”
My daughter and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Le Squara. Lovely comfy bed and amenities. Very handy for the Metro (less than 5 minutes walk) so we could get anywhere round Paris easily. Air con was very welcome after long days out and made sleeping easy. We didn't eat at the hotel hence the '1' for food as it wouldn't let us leave it blank. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you. xx

Small but convenient great value. Helpful staff”
The stay was very pleasant. The metro was on the same block. Plenty of resturaunts and bars nearby. Next door to the Moulin Rouge. The staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English. Close to the rail station. The rooms were a bit tight but they were nicely decorated and they were very quaint. The size of the room made it more romantic for me and my wife. Rain showers. This was a great value overall. The staff even bought us souvenirs when we checked out.

Excellent location! ”
The hotel is 30 seconds walking distance from Moulin Rouge and there are stores, supermarkets and restaurants around it. The hotel offers excellent guest service, clean rooms, good facilities! I will stay in this hotel again if I want to see the Moulin Rouge show again in the future with my husband!

a standard hotel next to Moulin Rouge”
My husband and I just stayed one night at Le Squara. The best point is that it's just a step away from Moulin Rouge and the metro station. So very easy to travel from the airport. Just like any other hotel in Paris, the room is very small. But the toilet is new and comfortable.

Exceptional”
Stayed for 11 nights. Friendly staff, very clean rooms and amazing location. Only shortfall would be the wi-fi. There were a couple of days where the wi-fi went off (which is exceptional of course), but the wi-fi speed is lower than satisfactory if you need to stream content or work.

A Boutique Hotel that lives up to it's claims.”
We are a hard to please couple but could find very little to complain about here. The room was, perhaps, slightly smaller than we expected but it had everything we needed. The owner spoke a little English and was very friendly, her assistant Anastasia spoke excellent English and couldn't do enough to help us. Some very interesting shop=windows round the corner! Good Continental breakfast in the cosy dining room.

very french”
Very nice stay and loved the decor in the room. Staff excellent and spoke english and were helpful. Aircon not working in room so they did change my room. Asked during the day twice to make sure i got an early morning call and this did not happen. that was just a bit slack. Lovely place but for me the bed was a bit to hard. I like comfortable and soft and these beds are not that. Mind you it was a lovely little place with nice staff who were helpful. If beds were more comfortable i would stay there again otherwise no.

Nice location”
Very tiny lift, very slow. Wifi was so poor ... even not having proper signal in the room .... really disappointed as I selected this hotel after seeing so much good reviews

Dissapoited with 8.4 point recommendation.”
I find the hotel quite easy as it's located right in city central area. Staff is not as friendly as expected. They should inform us in advance that wifi is limited: only two devices per room, after that we need to pay. We all own more than 2 devices per persons nowadays. My friend pass by to visit me in the hotel, and the hotel staff keep knocking the door to remind them to leave, it is at 4pm, not midnight. It's is a bad experience in Paris.
