Reasonably priced, clean hotel near Montmartre”

Very nice ladies at the reception, who let us drop our luggage until we could check in in the afternoon, as we arrived at 8am out of an international flight. Our 3 person room, one double and one single bed, was not very big, but very clean and comfy for one night. A kettle in the room would have been nice though. Very convenient for catching a train from Gare du Nord, just 11 euros by taxi, or walking distance if not too many luggage. About 20 minutes walk to the Sacre Coeur. The hotel is near the African part of Paris, with many immigrant workers, and in the evening, there were many groups of men chatting or congregating in the street, with virtually no woman in sight. Everybody was peaceful and good natured, but lone female travellers might possibly feel a bit ill at ease with mostly men hanging around in the streets. Wifi was good and free. All in all a good and reasonably priced hotel.

Satisfied stay”

Enjoyed our stay, all was smooth no significant issue. One suggestion, perhaps the sign on the hotel front could be made larger so that it can be easliy read from afar. We had to circle the place 3 times before we finally spot the sign "Hotel de Bellevue", even the taxi driver got lost.

Location, location, location”

A comfortable sized room at an affordable price. 24 hours check-in and walking distance to the Gare Du Nord if your catching the Eurostar as we did. Staff were friendly and helpful and fluent in French and English. Room was good sized with free wifi, TV and ensuite was small but had everything you need. The best part is that it is a short 3 minute walk to the underground/metro station which can get you to anywhere in Paris. Not in the most luxuorous part of town but would definately recommend.

Bellevue hotel comfortable and clean.”

My stay was brief, but my room was clean and hospitable. The reception area and dining room were also a comfortable place to be and there were plenty of restaurants close by. The staff were helpful too. The area of Montmartre it was in, however, was not so great.

Good hotel in a pretty bad neighborhood ”

The hotel itself is good for the price. Staff is helpful, room and facilities are clean, breakfast is good. The negative is the neighborhood. Sadly, the area is filthy as hell. A lot of dirt and poverty around. The place is a ghetto of refugees, and there’s definitely nothing nice to see around. My wife walked out to the local supermarket and was molested by a group of males. Hence, from a safety perspective, not a place you’d walk alone at night, specially if you are a woman.

ok stay but NO A/C”

my stay was okay but location of the hotel is not as superb. there are alot of pubs and restaurants around. it seems to be in a multiracial area. at night it can be noisy up till about 1 to 2am. having no A/C in the room also meant that we have to keep the windows open which made it hard for us to sleep till the noise outside dies down at 1 or 2am. Other than not having A/C and noisy streets at night, the hotel was otherwise very good with clean beds and hot showers.

clean with helpful staff”

The hotel is in multi national area and lively , but is real life and fun .staff so helpful and friendly. The rooms are not large but that go's with the price you pay, but very clean . Did not have breakfast at hotel so cannot say , went to a cafe 3 minutes away. Would stay again .

great budget hotel”

the hotel is situated in a rather poor neighborhood, but if that does not bother you, it's the ideal choice. metro stations are near, rooms are nice and clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is good. can advise.

Great hotel, shame about the location”

Great hotel, modern, clean and great staff. My only concern was location. If you can get past this then it's well worth the stay. Great access to metro.

Hotel staff was wonderful”

Good stay, would probably stay again. Hotel is in a less than desirable neighborhood.

Not really in Montmarte, location shady, rooms hot”

Average, wasn't Montmarte at all if you are looking to be close to the beautiful area. This was a very shady area. Rooms were pleasantly kept, but lacked a/c and got hot at night (June). Staff a bit slow, though pleasant. Check in was fast and early, we got our room at 11. No mini bar in room, so had yo store some chocs I bought in the hotel fridge. All in all, I won't go back there.

Pleasant stay overall. The staff were very nice. The location is not so good and there's a construction site just next to it.
