Romantic weekend in Paris”
We loved staying at this hotel, the rooms were very clean and quiet. The hotel is gorgeous with the original details and especially the suite was magical with the high ceilings and mirrors . The staff was very friendly and helpful after we had to leave 1 day earlier due to some protests. Thanks for everything, we'll be coming back soon :)

Great alternative to larger chain hotel”
As titled, you experience staying at a mansion and felt treated as a guest from the host. It’s an old building so i was prepared but turn out pretty well maintained. it’s Standard room is small for 2 but it’s Paris after all. The staff made the stay great. Staff did proactively sent the bags to room. The gym is on the small side. The building itself is magnificent and I would recommend you to try. If budget allows please do book the premium room for the full experience! I

Wonderful parisian hotel and staff😍”
We where there for our short Honeymoon Weekend and the room looks like in Versailles. The breakfast was small but excellent. All the staff very friendly and polite.

Beautiful building and courtyard, very good service and friendly staff. Could do better on the noise insulation and better night time lighting (options of dim lights in bathrooms for example).

We slept really well but I don't think this is a five star hotel”
The room was big with a balcony to the inner courtyard, which was lovely. The room gets a bit warm but there no noise at all so we slept with the windows on. The hotel building is beautiful. My only cons are that it doesn't feel like a five star hotel. The area is not amazing (we kept going to other neighbourhoods for food and attractions) and the hotel itself doesn't have great lounge areas, swimming pool etc or much environment outside the rooms.

Disappointing ”
It’s a beautiful building And rate was pretty good but the service is just not 5*. There was a skeleton staff that work hard (multiple jobs) and are were being friendly but the service the hotel is providing isn’t good enough. Often nobody answers phones , the rooms serves food was very very poor standard and the carpets in the room was stained and dirty looking . I think managers need to inject some love and money into the hotel .

A well situated hotel with a classic approach. The high ceiling room we had was larger than most in Paris, the beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The hotel is not big, especially the restaurant and bar and probably benefits greatly during the spring and summer when the courtyard can be utilised on top. The breakfast was very nice and the bell boys very helpful, as were the bar staff. But the front desk staff were less helpful and were very good at ignoring guests who were clearly in need of attention, they always seemed to be far too busy doing other things….such as counting change and filing!

The concierge Victor Allain is amazing. Very proactive and a great help in booking us restaurants. The reception sraff were friendly and helpful too. Housekeeping is below par. Room can be cleaned yet towels not replaced. Doesn't seem to have a housekeeping SOP as each day's standard can be different. But the concierge team saved the day for the hotel.

Good location and good bedding but that’s all. Staff was not friendly. We had unexpected and rude happening during staying. But the staff’s attitude made us more unsatisfied. It's not a five-star facility or service. Also Breakfast is very simple. Not recommend for couple. Maybe good for business trip.

Alfred Sommier, a gem in Paris”
For our first trip to Paris I wanted to stay at a hotel that was both modern but still had the true Parisian feel to it. Hotel Alfred Sommier was the perfect hotel for us! Friendly staff greeted us as we entered (including an adorable puppy!). Our room was beautiful and clean, even the bathrooms were spectacular. Room service was very kind and did the best job I have ever seen at any hotel. I am so happy we found this gem in Paris. We will definitely be staying here every time we visit!
