Hotel Home Moderne
15th - Tour Eiffel - Porte de Versailles,Paris - View on map
"I’ve been trying to pick a hotel in France which is just right for my budget and spacious for a family of 3 and I found Hotel Home Moderne. This lovely hotel is located in Rue Brancion Paris just a bit outside the city centre and from the famous tourist spots of Paris like Eiffel tower. It is a neighbourhood hotel and the cafes’ and restaurants around the area feels at home. Parc George Branssen is just 5 min walk from the hotel which is good for relaxing, nature retreat and strolling. A convenient store and pharmacy is just beside the hotel. The room we booked is for family and very spacious. The toilet itself is very big. TV channels are very abundant including cable channels. Lift is spacious and there are lots of tables in the dining and coffee area. Internet is very fast and hotel ammenities are generous like the shower gels, and shampoo. There is free french pastries 24/7 at the lobby. Special commendation to Gilles who help me print out my plane tickets - kudos sir. "

Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel Hotel
15th - Tour Eiffel - Porte de Versailles,Paris - View on map
"I had booked this place as it is very close to the Eiffel Tower. Believe me u will not be disappointed. The Eiffel Tower is just a 10 min walk. The rooms are a bit small but the prices are absolutely bang on for the location. Their breakfast was nice. I personally had a difficult time in Paris city as I was pickpocketed the very first day. The hotel went out of its way to help me block the cards and get some money from the security deposit and also waived off some emergency international call charges. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone to stay PS: just be careful while travelling by metro in Paris"

"This hotel is strategically located in the heart of shopping district. You can find YSL at the hotel lobby floor, Chanel is just 10 meters away, Gucci and Burberry are around the corner. Breakfast is good, typical European style and they served quite early. My room is very spacious and bathroom is clean. The staffs here are very friendly and helpful. I will come back here to stay if I back to Paris."

Ibis Paris Tour Eiffel Cambronne 15Eme
15th - Tour Eiffel - Porte de Versailles,Paris - View on map
"Very fast and trouble-free check-in and check-out. No forms to fill out. Location is very close to a Paris Metro station so you can take trains to anywhere in Paris and the surrounding area. Rooms and bathroom are a bit small but adequate. Room facilities are basic with towels and liquid soap for both washing and bathing. No other items provided like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Buffet breakfast was always the same and a bit pricey at Euros10.00 for breads, cheese, cold cuts, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, boiled eggs (no fried). During the 3rd day of our 4-day stay, the egg cooker broke down and was not replaced. Also, there was a false fire alarm at about 4am one morning. There was no hotel staff to guide us and assure us that all was under control. While guests were in the very cold Paris early morning on the sidewalk, no staff made any public announcement about what was going on. "

Grand Hotel Dechampaigne
1st - Louvre - Chatelet,Paris - View on map
"I decide to take my son to Paris for 5 days as he had just graduated from college and had time available as did I. We took a train in from London as this was the first stop on our trip and a taxi from the train station to Dechampaigne. The taxi driver's GPS got a little confused and we were dropped at the curb and the hotel was not in sight. After a quick walk through an alley we arrived and were pleasently greeted and our reservations were in order. The elevator was very small and could only fit 4 people and that was without luggage. The room were a bit small but we had two bed which were comfortable and usabel bathroom space. We did not have the right plugs for our computers but the front desk was able to fix us up with a converter. The room/ hotel is quite old and had some great architecture including some original exposed wood that was very weather and authentic. We walked to the River which was less than a block away and is a great landmark with most attractions within a couple of miles. We walked everywhere and stated each morning with a great continental breakfast that was generous and had a nice variety. A small grocery was just around the corner and shopping and metro were very convenient also. We had a graet time overall and truly got to experience Paris on a somewhat reasonable budget."

Le Grand Hotel de Normandie
9th - Opera,Paris - View on map
"20 years ago, my wife visited Paris for one day trip from London. She did not stay overnight. This year, we planned for our visit to this city for vacation & shopping. I was not interested in that but wanted to visit some iconic landmarks in Paris & spend some times in the Grand Mosquee of Paris. We also need to find halal food in Paris. So our itinerary coverage in Paris was large; from Belleville to Centre of Pompidou to Grand Mosquee to Champ Ellysee to Eiffle Tower, all within 4 days. Since we never experienced staying in Paris, our decision in choosing hotel is quite blur. After considering the coverage we need to do, we decided to stay as close to transport interchange station because we need to jump to Metro as fast as we can....and the hotel must be cheap but comfortable, sounds too good to be true. We came across Le Hotel de Normandie in Agoda, low price hotel, good location & the room looks good in the picture. So we booked. The moment we checked in, we knew that we made the right choice. The staff is friendly with english speaking, the Metro station is so closed that as if it's part of the hotel & the room is so carefully finished with good material (the sanitary fittings brand is Grohe) & the bed is so comfortable. What else can we say about this hotel....it's simply brilliant choice. I would highly recommended to all travelers. A few things though, you need to bring your own mug because the hotel does not provide, but they have kettle. Ask for room facing St Lazarre for some good view, but the window is not sound proof, so a bit noisy at night. Expect the room small but for moslem there are space for pray. No halal food around, you need to travel to Belleville to find one. All in all.....book this hotel while it's still cheap and have a nice day "

Metropol Hotel
10th - Gare du Nord,Paris - View on map
"The hotel is very close to Gare du Nord railway station. You can take a train (RER) straight from CDG airport about 10 stations to Gare du Nord and it cost 10.30 euro and then walk from there around 5-6 minutes to the hotel. There is the hop on hop off bus stop at the Gare du Nord railway station (red line) for your first time in Paris, you can easily access to Paris city. The hotel is nice, staff very helpful. I’m satisfied during my staying in Paris. I would recommend this hotel. "

Hotel De France Invalides
7th - Tour Eiffel - Invalides,Paris - View on map
"We spent 3 nights in a tiny room in this hotel (although most rooms in 2 and 3-star hotels in Paris are on the rather small side). To our delight, we had a small balcony with a side view of the beautiful dome of Les Invalides. Although the hotel does not appear to be very modern, it thankfully has an elevator and the rooms have flat-screen tvs. Whenever you leave the hotel, the key must be surrendered at the reception. Location-wise, the nearest metro (Ecole Militaire) is only a few minutes away by foot and many good cafés and bistros dot the area. We appreciated the free wifi, the kind staff and the breakfast consisting of toast, different spreads, yoghurt, fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, and eggs, but the eggs had to be prepared yourself, either boiled or fried in the pan provided.
