Ecoland hotels & places to stay

After staying at the Jade Dragon Suites, the Qanaq felt like the 4 Seasons. Here's my experience: The hotel was accommodating to my early check in (7:30am. I needed a place to shower, as my last hotel had sprung a leak in the middle of the night and my bathroom as unusable by morning.) It's brand new, like 3 months old. My room was immaculate. I think I paid $3 USD more per night for a room twice the size of my last hotel, that had a double bed, a window, and breakfast included. None of these were in my last hotel. The Qanaq was basically heaven. 100 feet down the street there is a 'town square' with restaurants, cafes, salons, and a convenience store. The ONLY issue I had, was that the wifi isn't in all the rooms, so I had to go to the lobby/cafe and get it there. The owners were SUPER accommodating. The husband, Jun, sat and talked with me for an hour about the city and the hotel and was very friendly and helpful (and very apologetic about the wifi misunderstanding). The wife, Emily, was super sweet and also talked with me for quite some time. I was looking for a place to stay long term, and Emily let me know that if I didn't find a place I could stay at the hotel (cheaper than any of the apartments I was looking at). I mentioned that if I stayed, I would need a desk to do some computer work at. When I returned to the hotel a few hours later there was a desk set up in my room. This family run hotel was a great experience. Emily runs a nurse certification program nearby and shows her level of professionalism in the upkeep of the rooms. Seriously clean, bright and comfortable. I only wish I had booked here to begin with!

I stayed with this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights with my mom. The hotel is easy to find. It is along a major road. The place is near SM City (Ecoland) if you enjoy shopping and going to the mall. It is also near the Ecoland Transport Terminal. Outside the hotel are a variety of restaurants to choose from which are just walking distances. The staff are accommodating but it seems that they need to hire additional. The room is clean and quiet (despite its location) but a little bit old (needs repainting). The bed are soft and very comfortable. Over all, we had a nice stay with this hotel. Highly suggested to those who are in tight budget like me. I did not regret my decision of staying in this hotel.

An excellent choice of very tasty buffet breakfast in all offered options you can choose on the evening before. Great hosts who give you very best advice where to arrange whatever thing you need in Davao. I slept very calm and comfortable. Coffeemaker, coffee, drinking water is provided in your room everyday. The room is very clean and safe, aircon not noisy at all, they clean everyday and change towels. Cheap and good laundry nearby in 3 minutes walking distance. SM Mall Ecoland and a great burger and coffee resto very nearby in walking distance of 10 minutes. I enjoyed this place very much because they really cover all needs of a foreign guest from Europe much better than at all other places where I stayed in this country. And where can you book a very affordable and comfortable room next to the house of the president of the country? Here you can. I really felt at home here, among friends. And this happened in my first stay here. I'll definitely come back. Compliments to the owners who make this place so worthy to enjoy a stay so very much. And k thanks for all the good advices. Room Tip: Take "Africa" Suite as I did and enjoy the refrigerator for refreshing icetea whenever.

Pros: Rooms are large enough, they were clean and had a TV, internet, hot shower. Place itself is a restaurant within a quiet reidential area in Davao Cituy, less than 10mins away by taxi to SM City Ecoland and S&R. Neighborhood is good for walks. Close to restaurants. Best part is that it's pet friendy so we were able to bring our small furbaby. She had lots of space to run ourside. FYI your pooch must have it's cage. Customer service is also efficient and they were all pleasant and quick to address our needs. Breakfast was not included in the package but that's fine. They serve this in the resto and you can eat outdoors. Cons: Just minor things: - Aircon was really noisy at night. Had some trouble sleeping because I'm sensitive to noise. - Wifi was super slow and we had trouble connecting. - Water heater never really got hot. - No toilettry kit. - Did not provide bottled water in the room.

From the owner to the staff they were all accommodating.We felt at home.We slept comfortably during our 5 day stay.Although our one night was forfeited due to typhoon we were'nt able to check in on our fist day,still the owner was kind enough to let us make use of the forfeited night without extra charge.All the staff were very helpful of our needs.Their food serving was much of the ordinary.For P40-50 you can have a chicken,rice,soup,coffee, banana,pandesal(bread 15pcs.),butter&jam.They have refrigirator and hot&cold water dispenser outside the room that you can use for free. The only thing that we dont like was the aircon,it was very slow and it would take an hour before you can feel the cool air. But over all it is a nice a place to stay if like to have a comfortable and quiet sleep.

the hotel in general is okey; clean,nice breakfast, very accommodating staff, and very alert security guard. we arrived late because of our delayed flight and as we go out from the taxi, he promptly helped us with our baggage. and if you are planning to explore gensan and koronadal after your davao tour, it's so easy to get a bus from the hotel or you can walk to ecoland bus terminal.

I was visiting Davao to see my girlfriend for two weeks. The hotel was perfectly located beside my girlfriends school which was very convenient for us. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. I would also like to say the security guards there were spectacular. They were very professional as well as polite! I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

the owner of this hotel done an amazing job. nice room very clean near sm ecoland mall u just have to use waze app to get into this hotel very safe place. this is near sm ecoland parking lot a lot of restaurants in the area very affordable price. just the wifi , there is a wifi but u need to bring your own if u want a very clear signal.their wifi cannot reach my room but its okey. there’s a very nice kitchen with utensils you can buy at the mall then cook inside the room. the bathroom is amazing hot water is perfectly fine clean room. over all stay was amazing. if u want to book it cheaper just booked online at agoda it is much cheaper than walk in. if you want to go to the bus terminal just ride a trisikel. if. you wanna go to prc just ride a trisikel. u dont have to use taxi. if u dont want to walk then use a trisikad to get to martin suites.

The hotel was in a perfect location it is near SM Ecoland and downtown Davao City. I was expecting a tiny hotel room(based on the pictures) but was shocked when the room had a dining/kitchenette and living room area. Only downside was the shower curtains smelled kinda bad (kulob) but the smell eventually goes away when you leave the bathroom door open for awhile. Everything else was clean the room even had 2 air-conditioning units one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Will book this again when we return to Davao ☺️

I Highly recommend this accommodation to everybody! Not only did we get an excellent clean room, the staff were great with their customer service!. They went out of their way just to make our stay the most relaxing one of all. Domicilio is conveniently located, just walk a few meters and you'll find what you need. NCC Mall is just 50 meters walk, public transportation to everywhere is right in front of Domicilio. Ecoland bus terminal going to enchanted river is just a tricycle away. The whole place is well maintained, the garden, the pools, and you can even use the kitchen!. But mind you, buy a knife if you plan to cook in their kitchen, because I couldnt find one when I was there. Other than that, everything was great!. I would like to thank the staff, the morning shift and night shift, and including the young man who had helped us get to eden park! All the way with out expecting any assistance fee! where do you get such courtesy? huh? Thank you for your patience with us God bless each and everyone of you! I wish you all the success! Hope to see you again but this time with my family!

If I have an opportunity to go back to Davao, I'll definitely book my stay in this property once again. First, the space is pretty clean. The caretaker is very accommodating and attentive to the needs of the guest. The facilities within the condominium ground are all accessible and can be viewed from the unit's window. The mall is just 5 minutes walk from the place, also the famous Roxas Night Market is just one jeepney ride away. What else can one ask for? There is just a small opportunity to improve as there is no exhaust in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Overall, you'll definitely love to stay in this property.

The deluxe twin room rate I booked which was a little bit expensive for my usual budget, but worth it as SM Ecoland is literally a few steps away. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Home Crest Residences is a solid choice for those who don't mind paying a little extra for comfort and convenience.

This was a great rental for the price. My in-laws stayed there and really enjoyed their time they had. We had previous hotel booking elsewhere, but still visited the in-laws here, which was convenient being right next door to the large SM Mall with its food courts, and entertainment available. They enjoyed the pool and playground with the grandkids. The area is safe with good security and the unit was modern and clean. A great option for the longer stays when in Davao.
