"We use BW Hotels in the UK, all over France as well as other destinations and have found 95% to be of a very good standard - staff, cleanliness, facilities, quality of food etc. The receptionist I spoke to initially on the phone to enquire about secure parking was unhelpful, impatient and rude. On our arrival at the hotel there was no smile or welcome greeting, we asked if she could recommend a restaurant by she just waved a hand towards the local Place and said they’re all good! On our way out to dinner I asked for an extra bottle of water as there was only one in the room, I was told we’d be charged 3.50€, when I said we’ve never had ask or pay before the receptionist said ... ‘I don’t make the rules’!! Not surprisingly we did not choose to take breakfast at the hotel...and certainly won’t be returning. "
