I’ve always pass by Campanile but never booked it previously (had preference for L’imprimerie) Campanile is actually a good option, reasonably priced, clean, fantastic staff (very helpful, smiling, friendly - special mention for the girl that checked me in in the evening), we’ll located if you intend to stay in Clichy or still not far from Paris downtown with the Metro.

The first thing to mention is Marina on reception who went did everything she could to make sure our stay was a good she is a real credit to the company. The hotel itself is new and looks it and although we had a room by the lift it was very quiet and the soundproofing was excellent. Being in Clichy, it is a little way out of central Paris, but right on line 13 of the metro. The downside of this is that line 13 is also the busiest on the network and trains are often uncomfortably crowded. For those arriving on Eurostar, bus number 54 goes straight to the hotel from right outside Gare du Nord. I generally like Camponile hotels in France and appreciate their efforts to be energy efficient. However, the rooms only ever have limited tea, milk and coffee and trying to obtain more is met with resistance which is a shame when you spend hundreds of pounds with them. There’s an easy win to be had there very cheaply and it grates that they are happy to frustrate customers so casually.

Actually we offer a welcome tray with some free gifts, but we also offer a breakfast and a lounge with hot drinks, so if we give a lot of things we will not be able to sell our products! As a traveling couple we thought this was a superb location to be in to be able to enjoy all that Paris has to offer. The subway & buses nearby to get you anywhere you want. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful when needed.

Good place for budget travellers. Rooms are small, but two people can get around for a few days. You are not in the center of Paris and attractions are not in the area, but the railway and the metro stations are fine and pretty close. Be sure to check details about transportation.

There was a communication problem. I e-mailed to the hotel many times before arrival. I would like to make sure the city tax matters, but the hotel seldom replied me. The hotel finally asked me to refer to agoda.com since I booked through agoda.com. According to the receipt of agoda.com, the price was included city tax. When I checked-out, the staff asked me to pay the city tax again. I was surprised about that, so I showed the receipt of agoda.com to them. The staff seemed surprised too. Anyways, she didn't ask me to pay the tax again. I just hope the hotel should have a clear communication with the booking agent. Also, if the hotel was responsive to customers'e-mails, it would be better!

Nous sommes navrés pour cette incompréhension... effectivement, l’hôtel n'effectue jamais le pré-paiement de la taxe de séjour en amont, car c'est un impôt pour la ville et cela dépend du nombre de personne présentes ; parfois on peut réserver à 2 mais finalement venir seul, ou inverse : c'est pourquoi nous ne demandons cet "impôt" que sur place selon la situation de notre client à ce moment là. Agoda à un fonctionnement particulier ... Nous tentons de répondre aux emails sous 24 heures, désolé si votre délai de réponse à été plus long, nous serons plus attentifs ! Cordialement, Cedric

Clean place but didnt have too much interaction with the staff. Regular check in process but bear in mind the need to pay for city tax which works out to be 5 euros for my husband and I for 2 nights upon checkout. 5 min walk to metro. Safe environment but can be a hassle to travel to n fro tourist destinations

Dear Anna, Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. City tax is a charge to pay at the property and it depends on the city where the hotel is and also on the type of hotel. In our case the city tax is 1.25€ per adult and per night so for two adults and two nights the total is 5€. Wir verbrachten unseren Parisaufenthalt im Campanille Clichy Centre und waren wirklich zufrieden. Paris ist eine sehr teure Stadt, und diesen Standard erhält man nicht direkt im Zentrum, wenn man keine 150€/Nacht ausgeben will. Es ist schlicht, einfach, sauber, ruhig, das Personal super nett, die Metro Marie de Clichy nur eine Straße entfernt, somit waren wir innerhalb von 10-20 Minuten bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Eine einzige negative Sache: das Bett war zu zweit wirklich sehr klein (uns hatte es nicht gestört, aber gerade 40+ spricht die Größe nicht an).

Etwas außerhalb von Paris - Metro ist Pflicht. Ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Metrostation "Marie de Clichy", dann 15-20 Minuten bis zum "Zentrum". Am Wochenende und am Mittwoch gibt es direkt vor dem Hotel einen Markt, der ganz nett ist. Wir haben in unserem Zimmer davon nichts mitbekommen, also Geräuschpegel = 0. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, aber es schien wenig Auswahl zu geben. Es sind genug Bäckereien in der Umgebung, daher empfehlen wir, kein Frühstück zu buchen, sondern die Bäckereien in der Umgebung auszuprobieren. Das Zimmer/Bad war ordentlich und sauber. Im Bad hat (zumindest bei uns) die Klobürste gefehlt. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag geputzt. ACHTUNG: Bei Flügen, die sehr spät/früh sind, kann man nur mit dem Taxi (oder via Uber) zum Flughafen!

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo soggiornato in questo fantastico albergo 4 giorni e ne siamo rimasti innamorati. L’albergo è nuovo, design di stile, camere accoglienti e con vista, letto comodissimo, bagno con doccia a vetrata spaziale e soprattutto c’è parecchia pulizia (cosa che a Parigi in altri alberghi è rara!). Posizione ottima, con 5 fermate siete sugli Champs Elysee, e se rientrate la sera vi sentite tranquilli perché è davvero un bel quartiere tranquillo e rionale. E poi lo staff, ragazzi accoglienti, professionali, sempre con il sorriso e sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi richiesta. Nota in più per Cedric, ragazzo adorabile che parla un perfetto italiano. Lo consiglio tantissimo!
