“It was very good.”
We stayed in a dormitory room at this hotel with breakfast included because the reviews about the bathroom were good. It is a very stylish and clean hotel! The hot shower requires a bit of a knack since the water heater is under the sink. First, you need to turn the sink water on full blast and then turn on the shower in the bathroom. After a while, the hot shower will come on, and once it starts, you can turn off the sink water and the hot shower will continue to flow comfortably! I knew from other people's reviews that it required some skill, but I couldn’t manage it well, so when I told the front desk, they promptly came to our room and showed us how to do it! The hotel is a bit far from the mall and the port, but if you walk a little from the hotel, there’s a laundry run by a kind owner, and about 1 km away, there’s a 7-Eleven next to a church. I walked to 7-Eleven while going to the laundry this time, but there were also plenty of tuk-tuks passing by in front of the hotel, so I think you can easily catch one. You choose breakfast when you check in, and there are many options like Filipino-style, bread & omelette, etc., and you can choose drinks like coffee or orange juice, so I was very satisfied. During this trip, I searched for a hotel where I could use a hot shower with the same feeling as hotels in Japan based on reviews and stayed at three places according to my schedule, but this one had the most consistent hot shower! Of course, I didn’t see any ants or mosquitoes in the room. Also, there was no duvet, only a blanket, but it was warm with the high temperatures and air conditioning, so it was not a problem! The mattress was just right as well. However, the blanket did not have a cover and had an oily feeling, although it didn't smell bad, which bothered me a little. Thank you!
