Despite quite a walk to access the metro station, everything was fantastic! Easy access to food, groceries, staffs are helpful and I love their pantry facilities and simple breakfast buffet serves daily:) will be back one day!

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere”
The bed didn't have a private space and the construction of the shower room was a bit strange that it actually can't prevent the water to split out of the shower room... So after someone takes a shower, there will be really wet.. The location of this hostel is far from the center of Paris (takes about 40-50 min), so be careful if you want to catch your bus or train or plane from Paris. (I missed mine haha) Besides, the staffs were nice and the bed was comfortable to sleep:)

Reception staff were very nice and friendly. Location was perfect walking distance to all transport and great attractions. The hostel mostly for locals that in all fairness seemed homeless. A bit rough. random people who were not staying in the place were regularly hanging out in reception playing table football and last night they offered to sell me drugs. The room was not cleaned during my stay (5nights) there was a random can of coke and old boxer shorts that we’re left there the entire time. Bag room is downstairs which is very inconvenience

The Hostel looks exactly as in the pictures. Negative points include: - There was no soap during most part of our stay. - BSomeone stole a bottle of wine from the refrigerator available for all customers and there was no camera in the area.

I came to visit Paris for a week as a solo traveler and wanted to stay somewhere economical that had an excellent location and an en-suite bathroom. This place had all 3 of those PROS, but the CONS below keep me from recommending this place. First Strike: I was not given the room I booked and was not even informed on arrival. I was given the run-around by two front desk agents (“we overbooked” became “that is what you booked”)—very dishonest and had the nerve to get ill-mannered with me! This initial incident alone set the tone of my stay here and it’s disappointing how you can be told different lies. Strike Two: I got to stay in two different rooms and both were in need of renovation, deep-cleaning and new mattresses! The bathroom shower had so much mold on the grout and the toilet smelled of urine. The bathroom was also horribly compact in size. I thought the condition of the first room was just a luck-of-the-draw, but nope the second room was the same if not worse. Strike Three: During my whole stay here not once did they service my room, give me fresh towels and bath mat nor bathroom amenities. Do not spend your time or money to retreat at Arty, please do look at other options. The standard there is quite low—I’m not even exaggerating y’all, this place is a dump!

Part time staff is really bad. I live in share room, but the upper bad have no power charge, I asked the staff and he said he don’t know and he need to see the World Cup. If I want to charge my phone, he answered me I charge it in restaurant. And he said can’t help for anything.

I paid and reserved 1 adult 1 room and the reception told me that I should stay with 3 in the same room , I reserved another hotel and refused to refund me the money I paid and the reception man was very rude
