I would say that this room is really perfect for a family. Spacious enough and nice location. I hope that the light in the living area and the heater would be fixed soon. And I hope that the host will update the contact number on this website and in the room. 7/10 for this room. See you again soon!
Spacious and convenient”
The place's location was convenient and it had good utilities. It's a nice place for a slightly big group and it is nice and clean.
Cheap stay with consequences ”
Booked for 3 nights but stayed only overnight. Of course, fully paid booking. Here’s my honest to goodness review to help others decide—book at your own risk. This is a very cheap stay in terms of price, it is definitely a safe high rise with 24/7 security. However, this studio unit could have been presented to guests in a more dignified way. It is poorly maintained and let me tell you why. I’m sure the owners put in effort in cleaning the place prior check-in but it is just not worth it. First, the water heater is not working well. You’ll have to deal with cold shower day in and out. Yes, I’ve tried switching on that tiny switch by the outlet. The water heater needs servicing and if you’re taking guests and making money out of it, you have to make sure the utilities you’re declaring are at par with daily use. The hose, shower head, bathroom tiles, baseboards in the bathroom and in the living area are all filthy. No bathroom tissue. Got a sachet of shampoo and a tiny bath soap. Yep. The whole space smells like wet mop which can be found in the closet right next to the bathroom. The kitchen counter is smothered with white stains and mold in the shower hose, shower head, handles, all over. Splatters on the wall and bathroom door as if a wet dog shook itself after shower. Additionally, the microwave was not cleaned with all the splatters, there was an old, dirty rug hanging by the sink, the foot rugs in the bathroom and the by the kitchen definitely looks like it hasn’t been washed for the last 6 months. The side tables on both ends of the bed are damaged and had holes on each corner top. It’s is laminated wood and had chipped off tremendously to the size of a regular large size egg. Lastly—the baseboards in the room by the glass windows and under the aircon (only 1 window type) are dying to be changed as they’re all broken as if it got wet and got eaten by termites. I’ve tried reaching out to the one in charge through the night security, just for obvious reasons that they have done a disservice to their guest who paid them good, honest money. I’m not very familiar how to leave photos in this review as I’ve taken a significant number to prove that whoever owns this place could do better. I mean come on, you wanna take my money at least let me get a good place to stay. So for others—I wouldn’t recommend this place but if you think you might have a difference experience than me, enter at your own risk. Good luck.
Chooks na for short term stay”
I usually rate 5 stars sa lahat ng bookings ko so far sa Agoda (even if may minor inconveniences.) But this unit, was the first time I am rating below 5. I didn't mind the reviews that I saw before booking this room kasi when I saw the room, it looks pretty decent. We're only staying for one night so we opted for cheaper option. But before we got there, we were transferred to a new unit to stay (far different than the room we actually booked). We got also confused with the room location because our parking location is just adjacent to the elevator in Tower 1 so when we put our RFID cards, it won't work (because our unit is in tower 2 and I thought we're still in tower 2 that's why huhu.) The owner is quite responsive tho but the staff in the lobby saved the day. It took us almost 30 minutes to arrive in our unit. We were exhausted and stressed from the flight and the confusions. For the room, it felt like it was not cleaned because you can feel the dust in the dining table and the beddings smell bad like it was not washed at all huhu I slept with no blanket because of that. The doorknob lock as well is not working if you want to lock it from the outside. Since we were transferred to this unit last minute, I believe they didn't have the time to go clean it thoroughly. But thankfully, we only booked one night. Overall, the unit is good if you're looking for a cheap option, great location, and if you are not a clean freak. I'm not writing this review to degrade the unit but to let the owner and cleaning staff know about the issues we encountered and maybe, they can do something about it for their future clients. I'm still thankful for this unit tho for accomodating us thru the night but I believe, this unit would be on the last of my list when I'll book a condo in Davao again.
