“Cheap stay with consequences ”
Booked for 3 nights but stayed only overnight. Of course, fully paid booking. Here’s my honest to goodness review to help others decide—book at your own risk. This is a very cheap stay in terms of price, it is definitely a safe high rise with 24/7 security. However, this studio unit could have been presented to guests in a more dignified way. It is poorly maintained and let me tell you why. I’m sure the owners put in effort in cleaning the place prior check-in but it is just not worth it. First, the water heater is not working well. You’ll have to deal with cold shower day in and out. Yes, I’ve tried switching on that tiny switch by the outlet. The water heater needs servicing and if you’re taking guests and making money out of it, you have to make sure the utilities you’re declaring are at par with daily use. The hose, shower head, bathroom tiles, baseboards in the bathroom and in the living area are all filthy. No bathroom tissue. Got a sachet of shampoo and a tiny bath soap. Yep. The whole space smells like wet mop which can be found in the closet right next to the bathroom. The kitchen counter is smothered with white stains and mold in the shower hose, shower head, handles, all over. Splatters on the wall and bathroom door as if a wet dog shook itself after shower. Additionally, the microwave was not cleaned with all the splatters, there was an old, dirty rug hanging by the sink, the foot rugs in the bathroom and the by the kitchen definitely looks like it hasn’t been washed for the last 6 months. The side tables on both ends of the bed are damaged and had holes on each corner top. It’s is laminated wood and had chipped off tremendously to the size of a regular large size egg. Lastly—the baseboards in the room by the glass windows and under the aircon (only 1 window type) are dying to be changed as they’re all broken as if it got wet and got eaten by termites. I’ve tried reaching out to the one in charge through the night security, just for obvious reasons that they have done a disservice to their guest who paid them good, honest money. I’m not very familiar how to leave photos in this review as I’ve taken a significant number to prove that whoever owns this place could do better. I mean come on, you wanna take my money at least let me get a good place to stay. So for others—I wouldn’t recommend this place but if you think you might have a difference experience than me, enter at your own risk. Good luck.
