8th - Champs Elysees hotels & places to stay

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel, conveniently located at the heart of Paris - close to shops, attractions and cafes. We were allocated a room on the second floor with a view of the lovely Madeleine Church. Galaries Lafayette and Printemps were just a 3-5min walk from the hotel;Champs Elysees, Louvre, Eiffel were about 15-30minute walk; Notre Dame about 45min away. Housekeeping does a good job in keeping the room clean everyday while staff at the reception were pleasant and efficient. Will certainly return in our next visit to Paris!

We booked the deluxe room, it is a very comfortable big room with a big windows that you can see the garden restaurant. Bathroom is large, enough for 2 people to use at the same time. Air-conditioning is good, no need to worry if you are from tropical countries. Water pot is available inside the room, you can make hot tea or coffee by yourself. There is ice machine provided in the public corridor, you can make cold drink if you like. Wifi is fast in room. Great location, 2 mins to Zara, H&M, LV and other shops in Champs Elysees. 5 mins to the Metro. Location is really really great - convenient in the busy area but not noisy. 2-3 stars Michelin restaurants are available nearby. Staff are friendly & helpful except night shift staff - we asked for service few times but got no follow up or reply. Daytime staff are very sincere and good communication skills. We booked the hotel thru Agoda with good price. Highly recommended!!!! Taxi from hotel to airport (CDG) only cost 46 euro (with slightly jam in the city center).

i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at beauchamps hotel, paris. the front desk was helpful in arranging an early check-in for me after a 14 hour flight so that i can freshen up before my 12noon meeting & i was pleasantly surprised to discover the cup of caffe i had in the restaurant while waiting for the room was complimentary! also a delight to know that my luggage was sent up to the room even before i was informed that i could use it! it was also an extension of their good service for the concierge to walk me out of the hotel to ensure i got into the right cab they called for me. the room & decor was lovely & contemporary with good standard of hygiene & cleanliness (the towel rack was even heated so it was great to have a warm towel after shower especially in february!) & the bed was very comfortable! (if only there were more selections of english programmes on their cable tv - the only english shows were the news channels.) the proximity to both champs elysee (just 5-7 min walk) & to rue faubourg st honore (about 10 min walk) is great! lots of cafes & restaurants nearby too! only problem i faced was the noise from the clubbers across the street & irate motorists honking...not sure if the hotel could upgrade their windows to be more sound-proofed from external noise...then the rooms would be perfect for a 3-4 star hotel! beauchamps hotel is a definite choice for me if i should visit paris again! great price for the comfort, location & wonderful service!

We were extremely happy to have found this cozy hotel in Paris city center and would love to recommend it to all our friends. First of all, the location is superb -- 1.5 blocks away from Champs Elysees (Franklin Roosevelt roundabout). Very easy access to metro station and convenient to reach literally all tourist places in the city. There are also many choices of eateries right next to the hotel including a 4.5-star Crepe restaurant. The hotel was remodeled in 2009 with artistic internal decoration. Though small, the room was equipped with modern-styled furniture and decent brand bathing supplies. Last but not the least, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke good English so there was no trouble in communication at all. They helped us print papers without charge; they provided umbrellas; they booked taxi; and they let us store some of our luggage for more than a week (we left Paris and returned there later). We will return to the same hotel next time we are in Paris for sure!

I cannot say enough of how nice our stay was at the Hotel Francois Premier. The Hotel staff are excellent, the room was immaculate, and the location is outstanding. Only a two minute walk from the Champs-Elysees, the Hotel Francoise is on a quiet street, with literally no noise. The hotel feels like a best kept secret. Breakfast is offered in the downstairs restaurant, again, excellent and quiet, perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway. We hope to get back to Paris again someday, and I would stay at no other hotel than the Hotel Francois Premier!

The location of hotel is just great and close to auber and Madeleine station, and easy to reach shopping malls like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Supermark monoprix is near as well. 10mins to go to Champs-Elysees. The staff all speak English and all are friendly. But the lady didn't inform me how to type the wifi password so I need to go down reception and ask if it's captain or lowercase letter. Everything is good definitely will come back again.

Lovely, calm hotel with efficient and friendly staff. Our request for an upper floor room with a firm bed had been noted - if anything the bed was a little too firm (bedroom 53) but no doubt a duvet underneath would have helped had we asked. The room was warm and comfortable - not vey exciting decor - and the en suite was nicely fitted out - spotlessly clean throughout our four night stay over christmas. Well stocked minibar; tea and coffee making facility, good hairdrier and a very good television (confirming just how bad French tv shows really are). Good hot shower. The building is currently scaffolded but we still had a pleasant view. Beware the usual outbreak of Paris bin emptying at 7.30am - but it's all soon over. We did not have breakfast nor room service but the latter especially looked quite inventive and good value. Hotel is conveniently situated close to bus, ho-ho tour buses and metro services in Madeleine (42 bus comes straight from Gare du Nord) and there are more exyensive public transport links ten minutes away at Opera as well as department stores. The Louvre is about a 17 minute walk. Turn left into Rue St Honore to find a good bakery (it's cafe, though, was very poor, foodwise) while there are three restaurants opposite the hotel and a useful Monoprix store close by. The adjacent '3 Quartiers' cafe served us the worst coffee ever with a cold 'hot chocolate' - and it was expensive. The area is well populated with good designer shops, many of them very individual.

As always, Hilton is an excellent hotel and just so happy that staff also reflects the great atmosphere of this hotel. It serves a beautiful place for such an amazing and lovely city-Paris. The only downside is that it’s quite a walk from ‘touristy’ destinations but if one knows how to use the metro, it’s great! Metros and bus are just right across the street so transportation wise, it offers a variety of ways of getting to wherever you need to go at a good timely manner. Mini bar is just really overpriced but there are cafes and conventional stores just right outside the hotel so just remember to get some snacks so you won’t have to pay for their mini bar products.

Our experience in this hotel was amazing as the facilities and service were both excellent. The receptionists here were also very caring and inviting especially one named Wills. This hotel is very different from other hotels as there are two levels and it felt like home. Housekeeping ensured that it was clean, neat and tidy every day. On top of these, the location of this hotel is really convenient, located near Champ Elysee. This hotel definetly played a significant role in making our trip a memorable one.

The hotel and the team were wonderful. We would definitely stay at the Hotel and with the team at Hotel Etoie Saint Honore again. We had a wonderful time, everyone was always pleasant and gave great advice for how to travel around the city. Great location too, only a few blocks from the Arc de Triumph, Champ Elysees and the main metro station. This in addition to the breakfast and mid day snacks made the trip very enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at the Hotel Etoile Saint Honore for all you have done to make our trip ease free and enjoyable.

Fantastic location a stone's throw from Champs-Elysees. You can even walk to the Eiffel Tower if you're up for it. Metro stations are also nearby, as is the monument to Princess Diana. The staff are polite, helpful and very good-humoured, which is quite rare to see in a big-city hotel nowadays. the rooms are beautifully decorated, almost like a chic apartment. Make sure you order your breakfast to be brought to your room (fill out the form before 5am and hang in on the door) - it will probably arrive 10-15 minutes late, but you really don't want to eat in the "broom closet" downstairs with 20 other people (to be fair, Parisian cafes and restaurants don't provide a whole lot more space, either, but the first impression of the breakfast area is not good). Excellent WiFi. A small supermarket nearby. We had no view, which for a deluxe room would have been nice, but this is a low-rise building anyway.

The hotel location is perfect, one street away from champ elysees avenue. There’s also a lot of good restaurants around. The staff were amazing, very courteous and helpful. The lift was broken when we were there but that’s just unfortunate. The room is spacious, the only thing we found that was bit strange was that we need to leave the room key when we leave the hotel but it was all good we didn’t have any loss etc. I actually lost my mobile on my last day, we already checked out but the staff on duty tried his best to help me locate the mobile. He rang and email the taxi company. Really appreciate that, all the staff were excellent

The room is pretty small but the interior design is wonderful. The hotel is 5-10 mins walk away from the nearest subway. The hotel staff at the reception is very friendly, best part is that she speaks great english, the same goes to the colleague who replaced her the day after and the night shift guy. The breakfast provided is sufficient though there aren't much varieties to choose from, but the croissant is really good and fresh. We stayed 2 nights there and we opted for the breakfast as well on the 2nd day as it simply beats any available "simple breakfast" nearby the hotel. Overall, the room may be a little tight to walk around, but for a holiday hotel, it is more than sufficient to make me feel good to go to sleep after a long day going around Paris.

This is my second time staying at the hotel. Feel safe to keep my things in the hotel and the friendly concierge is a big plus. The bell boys were very helpful and polite. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. Most important is the genuine attitude to treat the guests well. I spent 16 nights in France since early July staying 5 stars and 4 stars hotels. Rochester Champs Elysees is the best in terms of cleanliness and safety. This is my second visit. The first stay was 7yrs ago and the service is still as good as before. Thank you for the services. I would highly recommend friends to stay there.

the hotel was very nice. it was clean and neat and tidy. the hotel has a nice old school antique lift where the doors are manual. the downside to the lift was that it only able to hold a maximum of 3 people. our room was quite large. the air-con was not working though the hotel had central heating. the hotel was conveniently located. the closest metro station was about a 10 min walk. it was also about a 10 min walk to champ elysee. the hotel has free wifi and had a free open bar everyday from 1130am to 730pm. the open bar consisted of fruit juice, water, coffee and tea and some snacks. hotel staff were friendly and were english speakers. it was noisey on the saturday night but was told it was normal for a saturday night in paris.

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. When we checked into this hotel, we were traumatized after staying at a terrible hotel the night before. This was like walking into heaven. The location is incredible. You're close to everything, and there are dozens of world-class restaurants within two minutes walking distance. (Be sure to go to Cafe Sud! It was our best meal in Paris! Don't miss it!) The room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The bathroom was shockingly big by Parisian standards. We wouldn't wanted to leave our room, except that there was so much good food to eat nearby! We ate at the nearby bakery every morning, and it was fabulous. The concierge (an Italian man with glasses who spoke French fluently, obviously) was an incredible host to us, and gave us great recommendation on things to do, places to go, and where to eat. if you're unsure about where to stay in Paris, don't look any farther. Stay here! Next time we go to Paris, we'll definitely be back.

From arrival, the service me and partner received was amazing. Lovely hotel, smells beautiful, great decor! The room (my Cherie amour suite) has a lovely large bathtub (large enough for 2) and Bluetooth speakers! All the little touches like the branded soaps and toiletries added that special touch! Further to this, robes and free coffee in the rooms was great for those lazy mornings planning the upcoming day in Paris! By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Thanks for the great experience! Also... the hotel is 2 mins walk from Europe metro station! Makes getting around that ever so simple!

claridge is very near to champs elysees. very close to luxury brand boutiques. so ladies, alert, stay away from the boutiques. the room is small though, but u will bear with the small room. it is europe anyway. bath tub is a very luxury thing in europe hotel, but the shower is superb. if u dont mind paying 19euro for hotel breakfast, just walk to nearby cafe and you will pay much less for your breakfast. inside your room, hotel will give you 1 bottle compliment only. so before you back to your room, get your own water from mini mart.
